Haha. I actually meant "Ladies over the age of 35" ☺️
-
Thanks everyone! Just started and can't wait to see where this journey brings me
-
Haha. Indeed!
-
3 weeks. And the scale has only moved 200gr up and down. I've always seen weightloss as soon as I started working out and/or eating healthy.
-
It's and a year since I started my journey towards a healthier, happier me. I'm a traveler at heart so it's never about the destination - it's always about the journey. Therefore there is also no final point and I continue... Mommy of 5!
-
Thanks so much. Great advice and links :)
-
Exactly 5 years between these two
-
I decided to put together a few side by side comparisons. I'm 5'4 and a mother of 5. Youngest 8 and oldest 22.
-
My results so far. I am a mother of 5 kids, from 8-22 years old.
-
You look amazing. I'm the same hight and our starting points were very similar. I can't wait to reach a healthy BMI at 66kg. I'm 70 now.

I find it hard to believe that you are eating over maintenance at 1500 calories. I suspect that you're either not counting/measuring the exact amount of calories or that the weight gain is just due to normal fluctations. One pound in two weeks could very well be water retention.
-
The first 12 weeks approx. I lost 2lbs per week while eating 1500 cals. I'm still eating in that range but losing a bit slower. Have lost 50lbs since start of March.
-
Lose 10-15 more lbs. Maintain after that. Strengthen and tone my muscles.
-
Thank you! I've counted calories since March and I try to get in 12k steps per day.
-
SW: ~200lbs CW: 155lbs GW: ~140lbs
-
Down 50lbs. Size 29 jeans and medium top.
-
You look GREAT. Well done!
-
Quick update. It took me until Thursday (from Saturday) to drop the weight. But then it was finally all gone and then some :)
-
Thank you for your reply. It helped! I've decided to change it since I now feel like it's one long journey. In the beginning I had a greater need for milestones but now I'm keeping my eyes on the end goal.

Mine sure does! Feel free to check it out. Plenty of cookies, chocolate and even McDonalds.
-
Thank you for your kind words :)
-
Thank you! I had a few drinks last night and ate more than I've done for the past few days. Would guess I went 1000calories over maintenance. The scale showed an almost 3lbs gain this morning :'(
-
Before and during. Still want to lose 15-20lbs.
-
Huge NSV for me to fit into these size 29 (US 7/8) jeans :)
-
That's GREAT!!! Well done :)
-
Well done! Keep up the good work :)
-
Haha. You guys crack me up. I'm 37 and mom of 5!
-
I go to the gym at least every other day. When I'm there I always do 30-60min. cardio and strength training for either upper or lower body. The days inbetween I either run for at least 30min. and or walk for at least an hour.
-
My weight tends to stand still for 1-3 weeks from time to time and then I lose 2-5 pounds in a few days.
-
Thanks everyone. I'm a happy camper :)
