  • Yes, my initial goal was 180lbs from 224. I reached that goal 1month ago and have stayed on the site. Iswitched to maintain but it is very rare I meet the calorie goal with the amount of cardio I do. I am now down to 170lbs. I guess it is good to have a cushion but be careful you can get down to low and I am speaking from…

  • The MFP program already sets you at a calorie deficit in order to meet the goal of weight loss per week you set up originally. stay as close to the goal as possible and make sure you eat at least 1200 calories a day or you will get a starvation mode warning and you dont want your body to reach that state.

  • You and I are in the same boat. I was 224 when I started but now I weigh 190. All my friends and my wife say I dont need to lose anymore because I would look sick. This morning I changed my goal from 2 pounds per week to 1 pound per week. My initial goal was 180 but I am kind of afraid to drop that low now. MFP gave me an…

  • The sight has already established how many calories you can have and still be on course to lose the weight you initially put in per week. When you exercise you are just adding those calories to that total. I have had a really hard time with this concept also, I just finished my first week following this thought process and…
