One of my friends recommended this site. If you enjoy running log onto it and register (its free). This site uses your phone as a gps unit and tracks distance, average speed, calories burned and elevation change. I have a Blackberry (app is free also) and it works great. At the end of each run it you upload your data and it is available to you on the web site. Just thought I would share this its a great tool to help you track your runs or walks.

very neat! I don't know if it will do my Samsung Seek phone, but if you ever want to map out your route before hand.

I use the USATF.org map a route to get accurate distance and miles before I run. Then I use my watch to calculate time and then I go to thehttp://www.arkansasrunner.com/calculators/calc.htm

to calculate my mph and how many minutes my miles were.

For calories burned I go to RUN the Planet http://www.runtheplanet.com/resources/tools/calculators/caloriecounter.asp

It's extra steps, but just incase you don't have a phone that's compatible or you don't want to bring your phone.

Hope these resources help anyone reading.

    thanks for your resource.

are you talking about jog tracker? personally, i like zombie! run. it's an app similar to what you describe. but on the map, there are zombies chasing you. yes, i am a dork. but this helps me keep my pace when jogging. and i'll take any form of motivation i can get.
