45 pounds down since 1-1-2015.

I love to hike. I have miles and miles of desert right out my door.
-
I'm going to do all oryx and elk for May.

Mine worked great for four days. Now it says it needs to be charged just a couple of minutes after you fully charge it. I guess it is a good thing I won it as a prize and did not spend my cash on it. Seems like the best place for it is the garbage can.

6'3 328 42 yo male. Goal is to be close to 300 by July 1st. Be able to walk a 45 pound ruck in 45 minutes by August. Then do a 10 mile 65 pound heavy ruck in a decent time for age group by mid Oct.

My blood sugar is still high. Borderline diabetic. My thyroid is still low. Those are not what I wanted to hear at all. Especially the blood sugars. All my cholesterol numbers are excellent.

I told him what I enjoy eating. Ribeyes, bacon, eggs, red chile carne adavada, oryx green chile etc. He said I needed to cut my portions and eat fish and plant based proteins.
-
I'm 328 currently. My goal is two pounds a week for the next three months. He knows about the weight loss.

I OHP in my squat rack. I don't see a problem with it.

I will have to buy a HRM soon and learn how to use it. The vest hiking is working for me great. Since I live out in the desert country I have hundreds of miles of trails right out the door.

Thanks

Very cool! Congratulations and continued success.

I like salewa trail shoes. Comfortable and cheap. Come with 3 different insoles to meet your needs.

I have a 40x50 shop where I keep my stuff.
-
The wellness coach keeps asking about exercise. I keep telling her that I'm all diet at this point.
-
Dan, No problem. I just noticed how the sign-on looks confusing did not even snap when I made it up.
-
I'm a 42 year old male who works a very physical job. Exercise injuries are not really an issue for me. It's a mental/motivational issue aka laziness after work.
-
How about a weighted vest. http://www.weightvest.com/box-weight-vest/
-
I do lift overhead presses twice a week. I also do farmers carries with 53 pound KB's but not much and not consistent enough. I need motivation. I want to start rowing every am before work but I'm just not into it right now.
-
From the photo it looks like you have a large frame. You look to carry the weight better than most short people do.
-
I don't have anything against sports drinks in general. I just don't really care for the way I feel once I consume them. Today I bought some emergen-c to try out. Once the humidity is gone down to below 20-30% I will be all good.

I have a set of easton poles. I keep them in my truck and break them out when above 6000'. They save a ton of wear and tear on the back and knees.
-
I'm going to be incorporating acupuncture, chiropractor and physical therapy. I also ordered some stroops bands to start my own at home routine in the AM prior to work. Hopefully I can get some relief.
-
I like the treatment I get and all from the chiropractor but the sales pitch is bothering me a bit. What's wrong with twice a month adjustments instead of 3-4 times a week? Yes I am seeing a real doctor and going through the X-Ray, MRI etc like I have many times before. But that process takes time before you get any relief…
-
Well I have had some positive experiences over the years with chiropractors. I have never seen this prepay type pitch before in the ones I have used in the past. I refuse to take on any type of scripted pain medication. And I do not want to take a shot.
-
I have 20 pecan halves everyday.
-
Weimeraner and a albino mountain cur.
-
I'm going to start a solid walking program soon. For now I am hitting the rower consistently.
-
130/80 so I don't need to get on meds yet. Thank goodness. I will continue monitoring my BP and better deal with stress.
-
That is what my wife says. She said I had all the symptoms of stress related high BP. I'm enjoying the rowing workouts so far. I will have to see what the GO scripts me.
