More ideas are always welcome B)

This was a great suggestion. The YMCA does have some classes where weigh-ins occur.

I think this will be the route I end up going. It is an expensive route. I will never get to a BMI of 25, so I will never get their lifetime status where meetings are free. I really appreciate your reply and your experience.
-
I did consider that, however, their website says that you will never have "wheigh-ins" at OA. Since that is the key think I want, I excluded them.

I like this idea. I am in for 55 minutes (I know that sounds kind of specific, but it is what the sample plan has, so I went with it.)
-
How long before you felt like yourself again? I am nervous when they say, I will struggle to drink 1oz of water. The other thing that seems foreign to me, is when they say, you may make 1/2 of a given soft food; but you will be eating only a bite or two. I can't even imagine what that will feel like.
-
Your starting numbers sound similar to mine. Good job! I hope it is a positive experience for you.

Do you still log your food in MFP. I am wondering what life will be like 2+ years past surgery. It would be nice to know some diligent food loggers on MFP who had VSG.
