I've lost 50+ lbs so far, still have another 70-100 to go depending on how I feel, but very proud of myself nonetheless! Honestly, looking at progress pics almost daily is what keeps me motivated the most. Hopefully this helps someone else as well ☺

Oooh this!! Or in a booth at a restaurant! I fear them less and less with each pound lost ☺️

I've lost 42+ lbs (only started counting at 280), and I already notice some things. I'm a person who has always preferred sitting on the floor, even at my heaviest, and I get up from it much easier now. I'm much, MUCH more sensitive to the cold than I used to be. The weight of my then-large arms no longer presses into my…

-32 lbs, 5'5". Another ~100 to go. Congrats to everyone!! But I realize for some people just starting out, seeing people who have dropped a large amount of weight can make it seem impossible. I try to look at what I'm doing in multiples of ten - my next goal is -40lbs! If I constantly considered the fact that I have 100…

I've lost 10lbs in the last ~2 weeks by just watching my calories and trying to keep my macros balanced. I'm graduating from college on June 11th and hope to be down another 10lbs by then (: Mini goals are important, I want to lose 110-130lbs so breaking it down makes it feel more realistic and less daunting.

10! Too pretty jen_bush!

This whole "being fat and happy is ok, you can't be happy with your fat" thing is a load of bs. Who are ya'll to tell people how to feel about their bodies and their fat just because you didn't like being fat? How is any of it even your business? The bottom line is, people shouldn't HAVE to lose weight to be treated like a…

This is EXACTLY what I needed to read right now. I've had very little progress on the scale after 30 days of eating fairly well and exercising regularly compared to eating like **** and not exercising in any definition of the word. I'm taking pictures to compare though - I really need to buy a measuring tape! Thank you so…

After my first initial 50lbs, I got "Wow! Your body is starting to match your face now (: (:" Didn't take me more than a second to tell them to *kitten* off. There are compliments, and then there are double-sided compliments. I don't need negativity - if someone can't be decent and give a mild-mannered compliment, then I…

Oh gosh, what a compliment. I wish!

Big business won't do the right thing - money or the customer's well-being? Well, as long as the customers keep coming, then it's about the money. Trust me, as a former Subway employee, you don't want to know how much they lie about what's actually in their food and how "fresh" it is. Don't eat there, it's a health fraud.

What am I supposed to "Deliver"? The thousands of studies that have been done showing that being significantly overweight carries very real and distinct health hazards? Why bother.. clearly anything that shows that is the result of flawed science, or corrupt scientists, or "big diet" influencing how science is done. It's…
-
I never purported the truth or said I "know" the "real" truth, I simply questioned YOU.... And you didn't deliver. Sounds like your problem, not mine.
-
You're telling me these things contribute but don't cause these issues. Weird, because that's not what you originally said... So that must mean these problems don't affect people who aren't heavy. Because only heavy people eat lots of saturated fats/refined sugars/salt. Right, right - keep slapping your stigma onto fat…

The same exact scientists? Well I'll be, ain't that something. I'll assume they're the same scientists who said that blacks were genetically inferior to whites. Or the scientists who said gay people have a mental illness. Or maybe the scientists who helped justify the Holocaust? Ohhh wait, I bet you mean different…

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm just scared to do all of this, then not see a change. It's easy already to log food and exercise because I've been keeping track of all that for a while now - like I said, I simply couldn't achieve anything because I had a disease that made it almost impossible for me to lose…
-
Who told you that? The companies that pay "scientists" to conduct biased, uncontrolled research so they can sell diet pills? What foods cause disease? What diseases do these foods cause? Do you have sources for that statement?
-
My weight actually stems from disease, not a lack of healthy choices/exercise. Now that I can manage my illness, my efforts can finally come to fruition... and I think you've misinterpreted what I meant.

I wouldn't know where to start.... In elementary school I regularly was beaten up for being fat. Maybe the most embarrassing in elementary school was when my music teacher put me in the lead in the musical - as the girl who was always hungry. Every student and teacher made fun of me after and constantly called me fat. It…

The point of the movement is that fat women deserve to feel good about themselves. It's important because thin women - even women who suffer from eating disorders - are glorified. It's a movement against the brainwashing and exploitation of women to make billions of dollars off of them via the weight loss industry. There…

Amazing!! Can't wait for this to be me!!!

Thank you for the advice, but I already follow a gluten free diet that has helped me lose weight has eliminated my symptoms. But again, thank you for some direction! Ouch, I have that rash too, but mine is on the back of my head at the base of my scalp. It's reeeally awful, maybe as bad as the gastrointestinal issues. I…
