Have you tried lactaid? If so did it work for you? Just curious of anyone elses experience with it, since it doesn't seem to work for me.

Honestly, I don't know which is why I started logging. I wanted to see if I was doing what I should be doing nutritionally to assist my fitness goals. Are you suggesting that I go under my recommended protein levels to see if that maybe the cause of my bloat?
-
I increased my protein to help build and recover muscles after my workouts.

I apologize for not being clear. I get bloated/gasy after having dairy but I've never had an official doctor tell me. I'm thinking of going to the doctors since the lactaid did not work yesterday. I just am not sure if I should give it awhile or not. I don't want to go to the doctors for something I can "fix" myself. I…

My snacks include Almonds, hard boiled eggs, fruits, jack links snack packs are great too, they're packed with protein and peanut butter is the best. I would say try to only eat 3 foods or less together (sandwiches), your body takes longer to break combine foods down from what I understand.

My sister said Brooks too, I will have to find a shoe store near my house and see what they have to offer.

Your progress is amazing! Very motivating :)

My calorie goal is 1310. I have added more fruits in but my taste buds don't agree with too many veggies. I try to have a salad here and there but I know lettuce isn't big on vitamins. I don't normally do breakfast because I don't wake up early enough to actually do anything but to get my son and I dressed and run out of…

I just made buffalo chicken in the crockpot and it was delish. You just crockpot the chicken for 6 hours, add your choice of seasonings, and when it's done, pull apart the meat. Then add the buffalo sauce (get a mild and not a hot or it will be extremely hot). I threw mine on a wrap and added a bit of shredded cheese and…

Just remember, you aren't with him for a reason! Let him be her problem. On another note I think you need to meet her if he is going to be serious with her. You need to know the people around your child on a daily basis.

Just know that this is a journey and things don't happen overnight (still working on grasping this myself). Great habits lead to Great results! Sounds like you are on the right path :)

Actually you did help because now I don't feel so alone. I think that's another reason why I don't eat dinner sometimes because I want to see a change in the number the next morning.

I am taking a vitamin and on nice nights doing walks with him (he is 8 months). It's just very tiring sometimes. On another note, I am generally a happy person. I don't look at myself with hate, it's more so "can be improved". I am a bit of a perfectionist.

Thanks everyone. I am just terrified to gain the weight back, the little that I have lost and I want to lose more. I know it's no excuse but as a fulltime worker/single mom I don't get as much exercise in, so I am constantly trying to figure a way to lessen the amount of food I eat. I'm making my salads lighter, eating 1…

Drinking diet soda is almost as bad as drinking regular soda. They both release a chemical in your body called insulin that prepares your body for a sugar rush. Therefore your body is acting the same as it would if it was regular soda. My advice is to drink in moderation, or maybe set it as a reward for when you meet a…

A pal of mine had the same problem and came up with a great idea. She gets challenges daily on her profile page to get her up and moving, from doing jumping jacks to lunges to side bends, she'll take on any challenge that gets posted on her page. Maybe you can do the same at least until you can do it yourself. Good luck!
