My metabolism isn’t “broken”. I’m 5’1 1/2” and 64 and am of average weight for my height. I’ve been told by my doctor that it’s due to my age and small size. When I’m not sick, I do strength training, yoga, Zumba, walk 10000 steps. At that level I might get to 1500 calories at the end of the day. It’s just a fact of life…

I think it's an MFP issue. I haven't been able to get my exercise calories and steps from my Fitbit to carry over without disconnecting and reconnecting for about 6 months. Now, they're not showing at all. MFP keeps saying that there is an issue that it will resolve. Glad I'm not paying for the premium version!

Fitbit and MFP STILL not syncing properly. Today it actually subtracted calories burned from my Fitbit from my calorie allowance so I allegedly get to eat 879 calories today even though MFP isn’t supposed to let you eat under 1000. I still have to disconnect and connect at least once a day to get any kind of sync. When is…

Still issues with MFP syncing my Fitbit steps and calories. Basically it displays 0 steps and calories unless I connect and disconnect. So what I'm doing after I do my walks and workouts and disconnecting and reconnecting to get it to record my steps and exercise calories. Otherwise, the number is 0. We shouldn't have to…

I spoke too soon because today it’s subtracting my exercise calories from the food I get to eat so a 200 calorie workout gets me an 800 calorie food budget

Mine is finally working. My IPhone just had an update as did Fitbit. I actually unlinked MFP from the Fitbit side then reinstalled and it worked.
-
So I just tried this. Selected to Not Track Steps, then logged out of MFP, then Logged back in and chose Fitbit to track steps. Still no steps or calories from Fitbit in MFP.

Yes, my StepSource is set to Fitbit, which it has been since I bought my first FitBit 5 years ago! However, I notice that the calories from MFP aren't showing up in Fitbit, which is interesting. So obviously, the two apps aren't talking to each other. Also, I have an Iphone, not a Samsung, which some folks mentioned as…

Day 4 and still no syncing. It's not even acting as if I have an app to track steps. This is unacceptable.
-
MFP hasn’t sync’d with my Fitbit steps and calories for 2 days. I did try installing and uninstalling but it’s still not working. At this point I’m just manually adding calories from Fitbit.
-
I think MFP is having an issue. Mine won't sync today either.
-
I'm experiencing this today, too. Just disconnected and reconnected accounts but still no syncing with MFP
-
I mean 12000 step walk
-
Same here. Mine just subtracted my exercise calories from my calorie allowance rather than adding them.
-
Mine is working on MFPs online site but showing 0 steps on the iPhone app. You'd think the two platforms would agree.
-
I got it to sync with my tablet but not with my iPhone
-
I'm having the same problem. Hasn't synced for 5 hours. It's also Fitbit not MfP that is the problem.
-
I'm experiencing the same thing. I changed my password 3 times, and it still didn't recognize me. Just got back in. My iPhone app won't recognize me or log me in at all.
-
Mine isn't syncing. It recorded only 35 steps in Mfp and I did over 10000

I'm 5'1" but a larger frame and look best between 118-120. My profile pic was at around 120 but I'm 127 now after eating at maintenance and working out 5-7 days a week. I think I look better at 120 or below but was as small as 105 when I was in college and looked very thin. I too feel as if I should be losing when I see or…

I'm a normal size person but when I eat socially especially in restaurants I might eat something more fattening that I wouldn't eat at home. I often notice the heavier people are just eating salads. I sometimes feel guilty the way someone would who is drinking in front of an alcoholic. Also I usually workout and eat…

I'm experiencing the opposite. I had a 20 minute walk, plus a TRX class, and the MFP gave me around 98 calories. Also, on my phone, it's showing I walked only 18 steps. I've had my fitbit a couple of years, too, so it's not as if I just got it or changed all my settings.
-
My next question is why someone who is only 110 lbs. needs to lose a pound a week. This is a BMI of 20.8, on the lean side of normal weight.
-
I haven't changed anything in MFP. I'm convinced it's a syncing issue that needed to be resolved on their end. Today, I walked for almost an hour and did a belly dancing class and got a 300+ adjustment, which is more the level I used to get. The Fitbit Group (which I belong to) has numerous posts and threads about people…

I actually hand-entered my exercise calories after I had the low MFP fitbit adjustment because it wasn't showing that I was doing anything. The Fitbit adjustment was 16 before entered those exercises, so for all that day of work, I would have gotten only 16 exercise calories? Even with a deficit, that is an extremely low…

My time zone is automatically set to Eastern Standard Time, and when Daylight Savings Time started, my Fitibit clock automatically shifted over, so that's not the problem. Anyway, it's only an hour difference. I can't see how that would make a massive difference in MFP calculations for the day. It would be different if I…
-
So in other words, just use Fitbit to track both and give up on MFP for tracking food? MFP does track nutrients, macros, etc.
-
I'm still having syncing issues. MFP is giving me very tiny calorie amounts for fitbit adjustments, despite significant exercise.

This has been happening on and off for about two weeks. Mine is finally syncing, but underestimating calorie burn by a substantial amount. Yesterday got 92 calories for 45 minutes on a treadmill and an hour power yoga class.
