im 5'5 138lbs and 34 years old and usually eat 1800-2000 a day... i don't work at a desk job, but am not running around crazy at work either. i lift heavy weights 4/5 days a week and rarely do cardio. Im with everyone else... keep eating- you are close to maintenance so losses will be slower and need to be realistic.

make sure you are eating enough food too... eating at a deficit for too long of a period will throw your energy out the door. if i eat below 1500 for more than a few days in a row it always catches up with me. (i am 5'5 and maintain on about 2200 calories a day, 20 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of heavy weights 4x a…

i make sure i rock my tiny waist! (27" waist vs 42" hips/booty) Peplum tops from express are my godsend.

i have to wear mine in the middle of my bra... if i clip it near my boob the "jiggle" throws it off a lot... and i don't have big boobs

a benefit of being a severely handicapped special ed teacher: eating together in class is a skill... and eating with good manners is modeling appropriate behavior :)

as someone who has struggled with binge eating disorder... stay far far from your BMR and try eating at your TDEE instead... (you can google tdee calculator) focus on getting your binge cycles under control and don't think about restricting or trying to lose weight as that will only set you up for another binge cycle. i…

i add it to my water bottle for a little flavor variety... a few drops of grapefruit, lemon, orange, or even cinnamon if its cold out. no weight loss expectations from it, but it makes my water taste different on occasion :)

oh my! I'm 5'5 140, am a special ed teacher so I'm on my feet but mostly active within my classroom walls. i do 10-15 min of HIIT or 20-30 min steady state cardio and 30 minutes of heavy weights 4x a week and eat about 1800 mon-fri and 2200 on sat/sun. I'd find out your TDEE and eat that minus 200/300 calories. I couldn't…

i don't link my fitbit and mfp (i also have the automatic guessing thing on the FitBit turned off if i don't wear it) and i try to eat about 250 calories under what the FitbBit tells me to eat before i go to bed. I have consistently lost weight (though i am just trying to get shredded... i don't have a lot of weight to…

i don't sync my fitbit and myfitness pal. i just make sure that at the end of the day my calories are 300-500 under what my fitbit says i burned if my workouts were primarily step based (i eat a lot closer to what my fitbit tells me i burned if i did a lot of rowing or a lot of kettle bell work)

i go out drinking with my friends 1 or 2 nights a week... it hasn't hindered me too much. i do make sure that i eat well that day and bust out a little extra cardio. i also make sure that i am an "active drunk," stay away from sugary cocktails, and don't just sit at a bar stool all night. i think what kills people is that…

i like to take 12-24 hours a week off... paleo breakfast is always easy, but the lure of some weekend libations and cocktails with friends without stressing must be good for the cortisol levels. I was hardcore paleo for a year, got super bloaty, irritable, and bad gastrointestinal effects when i tried to take a month long…

work on your hip mobility. www.mobilitywod.com has some awesome mobility stretches. think about shoving your knees outwards in the bottom of the squat and activating your "prison butt"
