I track both calories & carbs. I use a food scale to measure it out BEFORE cooking.

http://www.zbott.com/pdf/bowflex.pdf check out pages 11-16 for different workouts. There is one you workout 3 days, rest 1 day and repeat. You could also take a 60min workout and split it into 2 days.

Drinking lots of water! It will flush out water you might be retaining. Also, changing to higher altitude will make you retain more water.

Sometimes when you are strict with your calories and diet and you go out for a meal or have a splurge day your body is used to burning calories and kicks into high burn gear. Water weight & hormones do also play a big deal. Maybe you are eating too few calories? I also weigh in about ever other day and record it but don't…

Calories burned. I've been doing Wii EA Active 2 but I've noticed even if I stand still it tells me I'm burning and I can jump or sprint faster than the character allows. So I really don't believe the calorie burn is correct for me.

I read a lot of negative reviews about that one. Mostly users issues. Does it let you know your calorie burn?

Some people say to log only 1/2 the time... but I log all walking over 60min. If I'm out strolling the mall or at the grocery store. That is more than I do sitting at home with my baby.

No problem! I fill a glass with tap water. Then pour it into a measuring glass and see how much the cup holds. I got sick of the different sizes and picked up 4 cheap cups (all the same) and I know they each hold 16oz.

I add lemon juice or lime juice. a few squirts doesn't add calories. I just force myself to it... Sitting on the couch watching my morning news or evening shows... Also, you don't need 8 pints you need 8 CUPS = 64oz. You will need more depending on climate, activity, and other factors. Try this quiz to see how much you…

Dr said I have to take few days off working out until some test results come back. So maintaining weight while not elevating my heart rate will be something different for me this week.

I do an Aktins inspired... I workout and I limit my carbs and increase my protein... but not to the extreme of Aktins. I do 60g Carbs and 110g of protein daily. I can stay under the carb limit but have a hard time getting all the protein. I also have a cheat day. Every 5th day I triple my carbs for the day. I've noticed my…

I've replaced my bored eating with drinking water. I eat 6 times a day but when I find myself sitting on the couch relaxing craving something, I just drink water. I HATE plain tap or bottled water so this has been a huge change for me. But it does help with snack cravings
