i'm always looking for vege foodie friends with open diaries! i'm vege but lean vegan when possible.
-
I'm going to be "that chick."
-
I suppose if I'm going to take anyone's word for it, it's you.
-
This appears to be for crows - think it'd make any difference?
-
Naw, these little f***ers are entirely black. Even more bummed... at least the red-winged dudes would make me feel a bit stylish.
-
I've considered changing my running route, but it seems like admitting defeat.
-
I also wanted to acknowledge the women who have had trouble conceiving a healthy baby - lots of sticky baby dust for you!!! And, thank you, mamas-to-be (and mamas-to-be-again), for being so selfless and taking care of your bodies. :flowerforyou:
-
Please do this.
-
Better yet, print out a picture of yourself, and tape on some cat hair.

Yes. Though, tear up a little when you're handing them over, and ask them to assure you they'll be providing a loving home.
-
Present: 1. Open the door, and silently shake your head at them. Shut the door. 2. Follow them around your apartment whistling the "Kill Bill" ditty. 3. When they're leaving, offer them each a goldfish in a ziplock baggie full of water. 4. Spend the whole time in the bathroom. Flush the toilet at least eight times. Not…

Robots don't eat.

You need to be eating back your exercise calories.

I bet you could pull off this (very intense) workout in the space you have: http://www.menshealth.com/mhlists/high-intensity-circuit-routine/printer.php

As long as you're under/at your goal, it shouldn't really matter when you eat (unless eating late gives you digestion troubles, etc.). That said, I enjoy: 100-cal popcorn snacks Tea Thinly-sliced apple Nonfat greek yogurt with Fiber One cereal Pistachios Veggies with hummus

You can't juice daisies; there isn't enough water. Way to think, thinker.
-
When you juice you take all the fiber out! It's just sugar water, not a magical elixir. Whole cabbage can be part of a healthy diet. Edit: was supposed to be a reply to JustinAnimal's juicing comment above

veggie checking in! we do a lot of cooking so would love to have friends interested in healthful recipe-swaps.

For how long have you been doing it? I think it took me a good month and a half to start seeing results, and I was doing it about 3 times a week. I was using 8-10 lb. dumbbells, which was all I had at home, and that was enough. Maybe you're not eating enough protein/calories to spur muscle growth. Do you eat back the…

Are you talking about this?: http://www.menshealth.com/mhlists/high-intensity-circuit-routine/index.php I was doing that for months last year, and got great results. It kicks your @ss but is totally worth it. Planning on incorporating that into my routine again soon!

Cardio machines and MFP overestimates calories burned during a workout, so if you are eating back your calories, using a HRM is going to give you much more accurate information. When I first started logging calories burned/consumed, I didn't have a HRM and was actually overeating by accident. Whoopsie...

As long as you're under your calorie goal, you'll continue to lose weight while drinking wine. It's science.

You can make a frittata in advance and pop a slice in the microwave for 45 seconds before eating. If you make it with mostly (or all) egg whites, it can be super low cal and very high protein. (I have a great recipe/method if you're interested.) If you need to take breakfast with you, the fruit+nut combo is healthful and…

I know what you mean about having a clear mind after a nice, long run. I feel like running is the closest I get to meditation; it is my anti-depressant. Congratulations! Just wait until your three-mile run is a "short run" for you. :drinker:

I have found that quitting eating by 8 pm has helped me lose weight. :flowerforyou:

My little brother bought one for me a couple years ago, and I really enjoy it. I don't use it as much as I ought to, but it's a really fun way to work your core muscles. The one thing to be aware of is that you'll probably get bruised a bit the first few weeks, since hula-hooping with a weight does apply quite a bit of…
