At the bottom of the food diary is a section/area called Today's Food Notes. Maybe this would be sufficient for you?

I have used the BodySpace app. It has plans to follow, places to log reps & weights along with videos showing proper form. It's a small cost per month but the costs may be worth it for you. Here is the website if you want to poke around a bit: https://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/

Cajun. Cajun on anything. I really like it especially on salmon and potatoes.

Thank you so much! Sardines just went onto my weekend shopping list. I'll give it a whirl!

@just_Tomek What is your favorite way to eat sardines? I have never tried them and I want to.

Hi! Welcome to the Message boards. Peruse around seeing the different questions and answers. I've been here for years and continually learn something. We have quite a few knowledgeable people who post regularity.

Hi! I regularly make yogurt in my instant pot. I use the recipe builder here on MFP. I also only have the 2 ingredients of milk and 2 T of yogurt. They get entered into the recipe builder. Once the yogurt is done I do strain it to separate the whey water. Once that's done, I weight the finished product. If it is 1,000…

bodybuilding.com has a video library so you can check the form that you will need. Actually, that website may have a quite a few articles for you about getting started.

Because the scale is not moving because of his calories and logging accuracy. It has nothing to do with french fries from McDonalds.

Along with the introduction of exercise and the timing of the TOM, keep in mind that weight loss is not linear and it's definitely not consistent. Please be patient and it'll all start moving in the direction you're wanting.

Thank you for sharing! This looks really good and I'll probably give it a go this weekend.

It's basically dehydrate peanut powder. You add water to it to get an end result that is similar tasting to peanut butter. The one I have used is 45 calories for 2 tablespoons versus the 180-190 calories in conventional peanut butter.

I am not sure if you're aware but there is a recipe builder on the website. It's pretty easy to use and to adjust.

If you're an Amazon Prime member, there are some yoga sessions that are free. I haven't done any yet but I do have them set up as a "favorite" on my TV.

I make egg casseroles for the entire week. Out of a 9x13 pan, I'll generally get 6 servings so I don't have to think about breakfast at all until that next weekend. I know it's not scrambled eggs but I thought maybe I'd throw a different idea out there to see if it may work for you. Also, I have an microwavable omelet…

I actually use powered milk to cut down on the calories. To sweeten it a bit, I'll use Splenda or sugar free syrup.

Have you tried checking the database here on MFP by just entering in the words "Cafe Rouge"? You may find what you're looking for in regards to calorie content. Either that or just enter in the items separately.

One of my favorite websites is Budget Bytes. Pretty simple and really affordable food being promoted. I don't think I have ever been disappointed with any of the recipes I've tried. https://www.budgetbytes.com/

I use the recipe builder on MFP. Generally my recipes are from the internet so I import the amounts (or copy and paste). Then I adjust the quantity, item, or servings to better suit me. If you're are using a cookbook, I would do either of these things: 1- find a similar recipe on the internet to import or copy and paste.…

What exactly does the bold statement mean?

I've streamlined some processes at work and now it's taking me half the time to do my job. Now I get to check out the community boards on MFP because of it. :p

Rice cakes, tuna, string cheese, a leafy green salad with a squirt of lemon or salsa rather than salad dressing. I'm starving too today so I'm battling the same issue. The items above are what I'm trying to incorporate to get me through.

Surely you DO have the willpower as you went from 280 to 180. The closer you get to the appropriate weight, the slow it gets. Slow and steady wins the race. By trying to lose too quickly may in certain medical issues (hair loss, muscle loss....just to name a few). I wish you luck at trying to achieve your goals but please…

Are you using a digital scale to weigh your food?
-
I would say so. Mine has in the past. If you're truly worried about it, maybe portion the rice and bean into individual sized containers to freeze. This way you can take out what you need and just let it thaw out.

This!! Awesome website with great suggestion and variety of recipes!

I had a co-worker who was unable to eat squid/calamari. She was afraid that the suction cups would get stuck to the inside of her throat and she wouldn't be able to swallow.

I have a feeling you've been duped on the whole onion thing. But just for plain ol' fun.....how about French Onion Soup! I don't think it'll slow down aging but it's tasty!!

I rarely eat dinner at all. I'm a grazer so I enjoy the majority of my calories prior to even leaving work in the afternoon. I do leave enough calories for an after-work cocktail though. :D

I absolutely LOVE pickled beets and included them often in my daily eating habits. I have found no reason to not eat them. If it fits within the calorie allotment and macros, why not!
