Logging Recipes from Cookbooks

Hello! Does anyone here log recipes from cookbooks? If so what method do you use? How do you go about it?
Currently I'm entering recipes into PepperPlate and then putting them into MyFitnessPal. I'm looking for any time saving tips or just curious to see how other folks are doing it.

I use the recipe builder on MFP. Generally my recipes are from the internet so I import the amounts (or copy and paste). Then I adjust the quantity, item, or servings to better suit me.
If you're are using a cookbook, I would do either of these things:
1- find a similar recipe on the internet to import or copy and paste. Then adjust accordingly.
2- Manually start the recipe and type in all of the ingredients so MFP can match.0
