  • This week, I prepared Rainbow Chicken, a recipe I found on Pinterest. Very tasty and easy to prepare. (I divided servings into 5 portions so I would have enough for the whole week.) I love my salads for lunch but it was nice to have something warm today for a change. I added just a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette (less…
  • If you brine the chicken the day before, it will add a lot of flavor and moisture to it and will help enhance any recipe.
  • LOL I'm reading it! I was just thinking that my coffee creamer is bad for me and wondering what others were thinking. I can't give it up and I can't do the sugar-free or fat-free versions. They're just not the same :( Can you use agave for sugar? It isn't artificial and I feel like it is so strong, that I use a bit less.

  • Hi! I am in my second week of Build. So, I just started and wondering if I should increase weights that I am lifting. The most I use is a 10 pound (the next highest we have is 25# which I can't manage). Depending on the exercise, it isn't always a struggle to lift this amount. I'm wondering if I should buy a 15# so I can…

  • You look awesome! Great job! Was this one time through or a few cycles? I just started my second week.

  • I'm starting today focusing on the lean program. I'm planning on mixing it up with t25 which I like but feel like results are slowing. So hoping this will help with better definition.
  • I have used a heart rate monitor for workouts like this to gauge how many calories I've burned. I think it is more accurate on a personal level for all of the exercises that I do. You just have to remember to subtract out the calories that you would normally burn just for being alive.
  • I'm in too. :) Thanks for setting this up. Name: Michelle Age:45 Height:5'7" Start Weight (1st May): Goal Weight (1st June): 1st May: 8th May: 15th May: 22nd May: 29th May: 1st June: Weight lost/gained this week: Weight lost/gained this month: Successes/struggles this week:
  • Sounds like your motivated to keep going so do what you can and if it hurts, just back off and follow the modifier. Sometimes when you work a sore muscle, it can start to feel a little better. Good luck!
  • I read somewhere that this happens naturally as your body directs energy into digesting food. If you are eating large meals, maybe you could try smaller meals eaten more frequently?
  • That was so funny! I'm doing this program too and last night I told my kids that the best part about running is being done! They are too young and energetic to get it.
  • I am at 1230 calories a day, working out every day for 45-75 minutes and hardly losing any weight. I am 5'7" anf 154lbs and want to lose about 10-15 pounds. i am jealous of those who are at 1800 calories a day. I gain weight easily when I eat more. Don't know what I am doing wrong.
  • Roasted with other veggies is a great way to use it. Barefoot Contessa has a great baba ganoush style dip. It is called "roasted eggplant spread" and you can find it on food network's website.
  • I always liked the Winsor pilates dvds. There are a few in that series that are about 20 minutes long that I will do after a cardio or circuit workout. I like them because they are low impact but really targeted. My local library has a lot of exercise videos to borrow. Maybe you'll find one there that you can try out…
  • Definitely water, but I just found a blueberry lemonade seltzer water from Polar which is so refreshing (ice cold). Great for summer.
  • Stay with it! I just read your post and remembered that I felt exactly the same way at that point in Alpha. I mostly stayed with Tanya for upper body for plank and burpee exercises. I was scared of BETA weeks but found that they were more strength demanding than cardio. (Except for speed 2.0 which is all cardio but kind of…
