Thanks! Looks like more spinach is in my future; not sure how I feel about that. I eat at least 1 thing from that list about every day, guess I'll have to increase it. Does it count if you smother your acorn squash in butter and brown sugar? :blushing:

Thanks! That helped. I know it sounds silly, but I have a seriously hard time getting enough cals with the right macro/micro variables. I'm constantly going over one or not reaching others. I noticed my potassium is chronically low, and my sugar intake is a little higher than it should be.

Blech! I'd rather drink a milkshake for breakfast. Back away from my coffee, slowly, and nobody gets hurt...

Bridges over water seems pretty common, and I share that one. I'll add lightning to the list. I freak out, my heart literally skips a beat and I break out in a cold sweat. Lord help me if I'm driving during a storm. I either close my eyes or smash down the accelerator in an attempt to escape.

You haven't failed anything! You're here, aren't you? Which means you are a "WORK IN PROGRESS", not a failure. It is only failure when you give up your dreams, give up for good. Every day you wake up and make the best choices you can, you are one step closer. Every time you choose to do something for yourself: exercise,…

I second the Tazo Passion Fruit tea! And don't be afraid to mix and match. I love green tea mixed with passion fruit, or blueberry and passion fruit. I'm drinking plain green tea as I type. And I almost always have a cup of tea before bed, after my workout. I find it soothing.

Tag for later! Thanks!

So...correct me if I'm wrong, but...it sounds to me like this thread is more about your loss of drive (direction, motivation, goal) than about how others perceive you. You've reached your goal, lost the weight, reached the destination. Now what? The journey consumed much of your time and focus, and now you're feeling…

^This = Awesome. I believe you are the intelligent one.

Totally in for Eureka! Never a dull moment. Oops, my nerd is showing, excuse me :blushing:

Agreed. Go for it! It's ok to be sore, and maybe this is just the push you need to take your fitness up a notch  Have faith!

I'm more of a lurker too, and have difficulty asking for help or friends. I tend to internalize and isolate. It would be nice to have some friends to help me along the way!
-
I did also...and checked the serving sizes, which contributed to this uncontrollable urge to ingest a soul on the off chance it might purge the thoughts from my mind!

Forcing myself out of the "lurker" shell, this is a must respond post! :) 1. PIZZA (wow, there is definitely something about it; I think it's because it could literally encompass all other food items, depending on the toppings. 2. Pumpkin ANYTHING. Cheesecake, shake, roll, donut, cappuccino, pancake...you get the idea. 3.…

mine is from a few years ago, and at the time i actually thought it was an ok pic. not great, not terrible. 30 lbs lost, i now use it to remind me how quickly it creeps back when i stop paying attention to myself! never again

let him go, honey...let him go. i hurt for you, as you can see many of us have gone through similar situations and chosen different paths. i'm not saying it's easy. ITS ONE OF THE HARDEST THINGS YOU WILL EVER HAVE TO DO. my opinion, while absolutely not better or worse than any other, is that for someone to have an affair…

i go thru stages where i watch one movie constantly until i find one that replaces it- recently it's Jumanji...past loves have been matilda, back to the future, karate kid, aladdin, you've got mail, and sword in the stone. pathetic right?
-
mine was a chocolate chip cookie, and i don't even really like cookies. i agree with the earlier post that we should enjoy it and therefore better our relationship with food...that being said, i still feel some slight guilt but i'm working my way through it!!
-
no suggestions but if you hear any good ones please share!! i'm in exactly the same situation!!!
