Unfortunately , I am to have second hip surgery this year. Reoccurent tear worsened and bursitis , scar tissue, and possible new tear in outer labrum. Keep lifting ladies. I'll be back ( in my best Arnold voice )

Yes that too. I think adding the weight to the arm adds more to the challenge of maintaining balance. Pudding, that is great!! That means you lost FAT.

What stage are you on? Lifting 3 times a week? I have a question about the intervals. I am confused. I understand it as 60 seconds of hard work and 2 minutes of "easy" up to six times, correct? But then at another spot in the book, didn't I read intervals are only 10 minutes? Three intervals took me 9 minutes.

Hey ladies. I am finally weight bearing on the leg but still on restrictions such as: hip flexion and any type of leg lifting. I am looking at another 5 weeks of therapy.

2.5 weeks in recovery and I am going stir crazy! I can't bear weight. Must use crutches. It will be 3 months before I can even begin thinking of light lifting!! Keep lifting , my sweets!

Thanks, Sam. I knew you had a lot on your plate. I am happy you are back. You know I am your cheerleader! My plan is to drink a protein shake daily. It will help with healing and hopefully keep me full so I don't crave the carbs. I am drinking one as I type. The sooner the better , right?! ;)

Hey ladies. I went to ortho yesterday. I have surgery next Friday to repair labrum tear , shave the bone joint, and remove some floating bone fragments. I will be on crutches 4-6 weeks. I had a long post typed out. Not sure why my phone did not post it. I can't remember it all. Strong book came in today. YAY! My short term goal is to continue walking and lose 5 pounds by 12/31. Long term goals; Begin lifting. continue walking, and lose 20 pounds overall. I want to feel strong again.
