I love the "POPSUGAR" fitness video's on youtube. They are quick 20-30 minute workouts that have you sweating. I would definitely suggest trying one out!

I've been doing early morning workouts for the last three weeks just so I can accommodate work/school in the evenings. I find it's hit & miss with my energy levels. I gotta say it's nice to have it done first thing and not have to fight for a parking spot at the gym!

Thanks everyone! I realized I posted this in the wrong forum but oh well! I think sometimes I get extremely caught up in the scale. I have gained 25 lbs over the last couple years. Yesterday I tried to put a pair of pants on that I wore at my smallest. The pants got up my legs but could not button. Then I decided in my…

Putting on a pair of what were "Comfortable" flats for Christmas shopping. Didn't realize you could lose weight like that in your feet! By the end of shopping I could no longer walk as my once comfortable shoes now gave me blisters, ouchie!

To lose 3 lbs before going home for Christmas. (Three weeks away!) at the 143 mark. Would love to see 140!

Everyone loses weight for different reasons. My weight loss is for myself but seeing people I have not seen in a few years is a good motivator. Will I lose 10 lbs? Yes.. because I want too. Will I lose it in 5 weeks? Based on everyone's comments, probably not. So instead, I will focus on working a little harder these next…

I'm 5'4, 145 Lbs. Goal is 130 Lbs! I've been switching things up, focusing more on strength training and moderate cardio (About 10-15 minutes after strength training). Starting to finally see results! Feel free to add me!

5'4" currently 147, would like to get down to 135 then from there see if I can get to 125!

I've only been eating well and working out the last month. I Don't think i'd ask a question I could answer.. :/

Nope :( hoping it's water weight from sodium. I'll have to wait a couple days and see what the scale tells me. Pretty discouraging. Regardless of the sodium intake I've been drinking 10-12 glasses of water a day. I was hoping this may have flushed some of it out.
-
I'm hoping it's water weight! I looked back on my diary and my sodium intake was unusually high the last couple days. However, I haven't been the greatest at accurately weighing my food. I'll give it a few more days and cut the sodium, see what the scale tells me. Thanks!
-
I think you may be right with the weighing of the food. I've kind of been guesstimating... however, I feel like i've been logging over just to make sure i'm covering it all. I'll have to get more diligent with weighing. Ugh.. I'm really hoping this is water weight and not actual weight gain!

Get to the gym today and stay for at least 45 minutes! No night time snacking!

Going through clothes from last year and trying to put a pair of jeans on that had been loose fitting, I can't get them over my thighs now! :'(

Always a small person. Then within a year depression and anxiety hit me hard. I gained 20 lbs. Went from 127 - 147, 5'4". I decided to check my BMI at work one day and was in the overweight category. I went "NOPE, time to do something for my body AND mind".
-
Same here! Back on the fitness train for the last couple weeks as well. We got this!

Fitness classes! This is an awesome way to get a GREAT workout and meet some friends while doing it! I love going to spin and other classes at my local gym and I always end up hanging out after and chatting with a friend I made there. It might be worth a shot taking a look at some classes that appeal to you :)
