This is a great case study which everyone on MFP should see. Thanks for posting and congratulations on figuring it out and making the choice to be fit and healthy - you look great!

No, you are supposed to alternate A & B. So if you do A on Monday, do B on Wednesday and A again on Friday.

Yes! I love my Bikilas and they have enough sole that rough surfaces are not a problem. Even better, since there is no heel, you're less likely to twist your ankle on uneven surfaces since you have nothing to fall off of! If you switch though, do so very, very slowly because there are all kinds of muscles in your feet and…

I started New Rules today. I'm 5'8'', 186 lbs. I started MFP at 207 lbs about a year ago. I've been doing cardio (mostly running and tennis) with light strength training (pushups, lunges, etc.), but stopped losing weight last fall and have been hovering around 185 for months and months and now I want to focus on body…

Definitely dogs. What's the most beautiful place you've ever seen in person?

I'm 5'8'' and aiming for somewhere between 150 and 160, maybe even 165. Anything less than that and I'd look like a stick - I want to be STRONG! I'm around 185 ish now and need to lose the flab and build some more muscles!

Brooke, I'm so proud of you! Through all those obstacles (and a pharmacist's incredulity), you powered through! You deserve to celebrate - you've worked so hard! You are such a great motivator for so many people on here and we're all celebrating with you this weekend.

For me it's not a specific food, but anything out of a box or can or from most restaurants just tastes way to salty for me now.

:drinker: Salud! To my first LOL of the day!

I eat a lot of protein -usually at least 130 grams daily. Feel free to check out my diary for ideas.

We're going to Savannah for the long weekend. I got him some picture frames and printed out a bunch of photos from other trips we've taken. He's very romantic, but tends to boycott the days when he's "required" to be romantic. So I'll get flowers on a random Tuesday, but never on Valentines....

Last night I had an old fashioned made with bacon-infused bourbon. It came garnished with a small piece of candied bacon. It was awesome.

There is a restaurant by the beach here that serves something called a Bocce Ball - it's an ENORMOUS 16 ounce meatball of ground filet, served on top of spaghetti. You'd love it!

I'm not new to MFP, but this challenge is new and just what I need this week. Count me in! For week #1: 3,500 is my goal. I try to keep it real: I have a heart rate monitor and only log actual workouts (not daily chores, etc.) Good luck everyone! Weekly Goal: 3,500 Mon: calories burned (how they were burned) Tues: calories…

Our yellow lab/golden retriever/chow(?) mix is our baby. She's a good 70 lbs and takes up most of our king bed, sheds like crazy, and just recently started needing diapers to prevent her from "leaking", but she's so eager to please and she's the best cuddler I know.

First - Dave Matthews Band Last - either Brandi Carlile (she's AMAZING!) with the Indigo Girls, or Gypsy Kings (I don't recall which was more recent)

Silver/grey metallic Sketcher slip-on flats. They match everything and are just nice enough to wear to work and just comfy enough to take a walk when I need to get away from work!

Ok, you got me. I was just silently chuckling to myself until I read this and let loose with an all-out guffaw!

Kemeko, I'll do the Maitland one for sure! (I will try to get my husband to sign up too)
