  • Good job. I'm going to be starting the shred soon. I'm nervous because I haven't successfully completed it yet. I got to day 10 before I got pneumonia a year ago. I really want to do it. Congrats for sticking with it, and for giving me a boost to do it again. We have about the same weight goals too.
  • Awesome. Thank you. I've written every idea down, and will mix things up everyday so that I never get tired of the same quick workout!!
  • Thanks everyone. I do own the 30 day shred & haven't made it past 10 days. LOL. I think now will be a good time to work on that again. And I will download that app you recommended as well. Thanks for the tips! :)
  • At 5'2 & 135 the last 10 will probably come off slow for you. My suggestion is to try Jillian's 30 Day Shred DVD. Good luck.
  • Congrats! But maybe he'll bring something home after work? (:
  • Hi. Welcome. I haven't found that "someone" on this site yet & I've been on here for about 3 weeks now. I started out at 177 & I'm only at about 172 ish right now. It's such a frustrating process & I think we all need someone at some point.
  • Hahaha. I feel that way when I just see the commercial ... I can't do a lot of pushups the proper way because I had surgery on my wrist. So the bending process is not pleasant. So I am trying to think of alternatives!
  • I was always told to "Feed a Cold" & "Starve a Fever" ... But I totally hear you because I've been sick a lot lately and it's really hard to work out when your feeling really crummy.
  • I was under my calories yesterday. By a lot too. lol.
  • Thanks a bunch!!
  • I don't want to join a gym because I don't have a ton of money to join, and the gym I would join they have a great 3 month plan. And with the nicer weather starting I wouldn't bother going to a gym anyway, I'd rather go outside on a bike ride or something like that. And I do pushups and situps crunches and stuff like that…
  • My BMI tells me that I should weigh 115. But honestly I don't think I agree entirely with it either. I too have a fairly large build. I'm aiming for 125. Good luck & welcome!
  • I feel the same way. I'm so scared to weigh myself tomorrow. I just FEEL like I've been eating all the wrong things despite not eating a lot of calories. Such a crappy feeling. Just keep your head up!
  • You all really just made my day. I'm so relieved to see so many people work out at night.
  • Glad to see so many other people work out at night AND lose weight. She is NOT the brightest crayon. She said that to me trying to be supportive too ... nice try.
  • Thanks for all the responses! I thought it was really rude & ignorant for her to say that to me. At least I'm making an effort to get this weight off. That's more than I can say for her. It was all because of a status message I posted on Facebook about how I was proud of myself for continuing to workout even though I had…
  • I thought what she said to me was so rude. I didn't see how it would be accurate if I'm still eating the allotted calories, AND burning calories. What should it matter what time I'm doing it it? I'll be getting out of work anywhere between 4pm & 6pm so my workouts will be done a half hour later.
  • You need to eat back the calories that you lose, that's probably why it's giving you that warning. So if you eat 1200 calories but you burned 600 calories you need to eat back at least half of those calories!
  • I weigh in once a week. I tried doing it once a day but seeing the scale go up and down like that actually caused me to lose focus and give up. It's so discouraging to see the numbers go up when your working your *kitten* off to make them go down. So that's why I weigh in once a week.
  • HI Jasmine, I've been on this site almost 2 weeks. I really like it. (:
  • I weigh in every Thursday morning. When I wake up, after using the bathroom with no clothes on. THATS the weight I count. Because if I weigh myself after breakfast, or after working out ... or anytime later, It'll be a different weight than what it was in the morning. It's because like everyone said your weight fluctuates…
  • Me! I'm trying to lose about 50lbs. :) I'm new here as well!
  • What an amazing transformation. Thank you for posting your pictures & giving me motivation that it can be done! You look beautiful!
  • Hi. I am new as well & so far I really like this site. Being able to track my calories and workouts is a great help. Good luck and best wishes on your journey!

  • Totally normal. When I actually get my 8 cups of water in, I have to make sure I'm home. I can't do it when I'm at work. LoL
  • Hi, I'm Heather as well. I'm also new. Maybe we can motivate each other!
