I have basically the same thing going on, really painful knees which I've never had in all the years I've been working out. I truly believe this is what is going on: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/patellar-tendinitis/basics/symptoms/con-20024441 I doubt it has anything to do with dairy in your diet.

Chopped Leaf just opened near my home, they have yummy wraps, soup and salads that you can customize every detail. Also Freshii is a good choice too. Nothing wrong with a well chosen subway sandwich when you are pressed for time, plus they offer chopped salad too

That being said I'm over that high end and take medication to help manage it. When I was first diagnosed, I too was very upset and it really threw…

do you know why the weight watchers program is so successful, sure they trick you with their point system into picking healthier choices but its been proven that the biggest reason is the group support and atmosphere - that is what you get here without the hefty weekly cost :)

My HRM is always 100-200 calories less than the treadmill, ellptical or stationary bikes.

I think a person should make one lifestyle change at a time, if for right now that change is portion control, thats great. Making better choices will come in time.

In Canada we have lots of fake stuff you can put in water to flavour it - frankly though for me, I just don't understand why a person would want to mess up water, its my fave just simple plain "still" water = good stuff

for me, MFP can be anywhere from 100 - 300 calories over, I've even seen it double what my HRM says.

most treadmills are set for the mysterious 150lb man and base the calories burnt estimate on that mysterious person. You can enter your weight to help but very few offer the chance to change the gender from male to female. HRM is the way to go if you really want your calorie burnt number and not a guess.

congrats that is a huge victory!

I like the resistance bands because I can pack them in a suitcase, tuck them into a drawer and don't have to worry about dropping them on my toes or floor

congrats that is a huge NSV!:flowerforyou:

love it, thanks! music totally sets my pace too

weight watchers smart one - frozen lunches are ok, I like the sesame orange chicken, chicken parmesan and the chicken quesadilla . About the quesadilla though, if you read the NI on the package a serving is only one, the box has 2, sorry but its got to be said - way to mislead people weight watchers! I also like Delissio…
