^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS!!!!!! Achantee's got it right! Lifting doesn't make women "bulky". Female weight lifters have to do A LOT to get where they are at. You need the right combo of diet, cardio, and strength training to get the best results, and don't worry about becoming too muscular... odds are you'll just get real toned,…

Congrats! Good job! It's hard to do. :-)

Oh... and try to get shorts with no pockets for the mud to collect in ^_^

SHOES! If you're gonna be competitive, it gets slick. My buddy ran with some innov8's, I can't remember what type though.

A lot of the life fitness equipment, which is used by both Gold's and Planet Fitness will pick up on a Polar HRM chest strap. You don't need the watch, just the strap.

DING! DING! DING! DING!

Don't get me wrong, I love bacon, but you're not showing the whole picture. Bacon has more sodium and cholesterol, less fiber and potassium, and higher saturated fat... the generics may look better, but when you do a FULL comparison, I would rather have pb instead of bacon for health reasons ;-)

Hey Cuz, I snooped your diary, and the 31st looked like a pretty good day. You should use that as a model. Yes, you should try to eat most of your calories. MFP has already deducted the ones you need for the weight loss. Going too low can have negative effects, like being light headed, malnourished, and if it thinks it's…

Mah Na Mah Na (The Muppets) thanks to my f$#king co-worker ^_^

I have Reebok RealFlex shoes that I run on the treadmill about 10 miles a week, and I have a set of Asics for trail running... The Reeboks are really light, airy, and comfortable... the Asics are a little heavier, but they're trail runners.

GO CUZ! YOU CAN DO IT!!! ^_^ This is a great site to help keep on track, and make friends who are trying to accomplish the same goals. :-)
-
My buddy had the same problem... went with an under armor compression shirt, and it worked like a charm. They're wicking, so they keep you cooler as well. :-)
-
Big difference! Way to go!
-
Agreed... it's OK to stray on special occasions.

My mom hit me with a metal spoon once when I was a teen... and I'm perfectly fine. The other personalities, however, can get quite rowdy ;-)
-
Yeah, I had quite a chuckle realizing you were trolling in the last thread. ^_^

LOL second spanking reference I've seen in a thread... How do you REALLY feel about spanking, Amber? ;-)

Yeah, I've found that tight laces can be quite uncomfortable! I've always had flat feet, so running is not my friend. I usually just push through the pain, which usually happens around 2 1/2 miles for me, but loosening the laces definitely helps. Did the guy at the running store watch how you run, or just give you shoes?…

My wife and I have run into the same situation... Sometimes I make advances, and she shuts me down.. not in the mood, stuff like that... some times she doesn't even realize she's shooting me down. If it happens a lot, then eventually I just stop. I don't know if this is what you guys are running into, but it sounds similar…

^^^^ Yes... and if you can't get a spotter, use a smith machine (ask a worker at the gym how to use it if you don't know how)
-
^^^^ Good stuff... keeps you full!

I add a tbsp or so of peanut butter to mine, and they come out pretty thick
