I am 5'7 and currently weigh 183 pounds. 31 years old 1450 calories per day eaten 500 calories per day burned My overall goal weight is 145 pounds but I don't want to just lose the pounds I want to tone up and gain the muscle in place of my fat. I gained a lot of weight with my first baby and didn't take it all off before…

I gained 63 pounds with my daughter who is almost 3 and between having her and getting pregnant with my son I only lost 43 of those pounds. So still carrying 20 pounds of baby weight I got pregnant and gained 50 pounds with my son. Mid march of last year when my son was born my weight peaked at 251 pounds. In the last 10…

Don't give up! Even if you have a bad day with over eating and no exercise don't let it get you down. Get up the next day and get back on the horse! But my biggest piece of advice is to find an exercise that you love, not like. It makes all the difference in the world motivation wise to enjoy your work out! And last but…

Bump again.... I'm also at a plateau, I've increased my calories a little bit, I work out 5 to 6 days a week for at least 60 minutes, about half aerobic and half a mixture of aerobic and anaerobic workouts. My weight has been exactly the same for 3 weeks now and I can't figure it out!

I do the same. I make it with whole grain pasta and skim milk. I've tried using the low fat/fat free cheeses but it just doesn't do it for me. I agree with others though, eat it and just watch your portions :) I also stir in other ingredients, usually broccoli and grilled chicken breast but the tuna and peas idea sounds…

I would say stick with the 30 Day Shred. When I started it I could barely do a single push up and I was dying through the entire workout. by day 5 I could already see a difference in my stamina and endurance and I was doing 10 push ups in a row non stop. Within about 10 days I was feeling good about it and bumped up to…

I'm 5'7" and my goal weight is 145. I have 43 pounds to go to get there but 145 is what I weighed for most of my adult life (until I started packing on baby weight from 2 babies 3 years ago.) I think the 140's is a great weight for someone our height! My highest weight was 243 so I am down 55 pounds since march 2011 but I…

I agree with this. The Phillipines brand is the best! Not too dried out and the one I buy has no added sugar (but it is still high in sugar just because the fruit is concentrated.)

My son is 8 months old and I have lost all of my weight from him but I still have 20 pounds to go to the weight I was before I had my 2.5 year old daughter! I just started on my weight loss journey again and did it with a bang.... took a spin class first thing this morning and did a big grocery shopping trip with tons of…

Starting Weight= 190 Week 1= 189 (-1lb) Week 2= Week 3= Week 4= End Of Month Weight= Total Weight Lost= 1 pound down! Hopefully I can get more than that in the weeks to come!

It stinks that the site doesn't differentiate between natural sugars and refined in some way. On days that my sugar is over because of fruits I don't worry about it at all! I guess I should rephrase the challenge to watching your sugar intake from anything refined.

Welcome! You are in the right place for motivation! I'm a new mom with almost an identical story to yours and this site has helped me sooo much with my motivation. Between this site and using my HRM as my "personal trainer" nagging me to keep going and work harder I have lost all my baby weight from my son who is now three…

A reverse crunch is the best way to get rid of that pooch... or so I have been told by two personal trainers, two yoga instructors and my doctor! I have to get closer to my goal weight before I can tell you for sure but I do know that after 3 sets of 30 that portion of my stomach is sore beyond belief! But you will…

Didn't make it! But this challenge def. influenced me to do more than I would have!

it does have a chest strap. I wouldn't have posted it if it didn't because IMO the ones without a chest strap are just a pain in the but and don't count calories which is one of my primary reason for using it... along with it letting me know I am in calorie burning zone. past that I dont' know, but like I said I love my…

I've got the Polar FT4 too and I love it but I know a lot of people on here can't/aren't willing to spend that kind of money so I thought I would share. A HRM is one of my best weight loss purchases!
