NFG. I get more play while being fat than she ever will while worrying about getting fat. ::shrug:: She'll die alone and I'll laugh.

Here are your options: 1) Have a little. 2) Have none. Pick one and move on with your life. Make sure you drink enough water and don't eat when you're bored.

In for "brain holes", "toxins", "chemicals", "poison" and all other scary names for artificial sweeteners. Hold on, let me get my Diet Coke first. I want my brain nice and porous so the ridiculousness goes right through it.

Either eat the meat or don't. It's not serious. At all.
-
Thank you for the introduction of "Briticism". That's glorious in every conceivable way.

I'm having a swell day. Your condescension is an unnecessary passive aggressive joke, and I'll thank you to keep it to yourself going forward. Keep projecting, cupcake. I'm not the one who buys into fear mongering NetFlix bollocks. I've got a bridge to sell you at a good price, if you're interested. I'll just wait for the…

"Fed Up" is pandering nonsense. And no one really cares if you don't want to eat sugar. It doesn't make you superior, no matter how hard you wish it does. If you weren't looking for a pat on the back, you wouldn't have mentioned it at all, nor would you have continued to bang on about it. Get your validation elsewhere,…

Drink water. Drink tea. Chew gum/ice. Plan ahead. Go out for a walk, if possible. Have small snacks throughout the day, preferably fruit/vegetables/something fibrous. Don't make anything completely off limits if you don't have to. Making foods taboo sometimes creates a stronger attraction. If you legitimately can't stop…

Just eat what you want, OP. Whether it's white bread or wheat bread, what matters is that it fits into your daily allotment. Don't listen to the bunk about "all calories aren't created equal".
-
"Willpower" is wank. I rely mainly on routine, because I like self created structure. Not eating too much in the way of snackage is part of my routine. I still have the things I want, but smaller amounts of them. And there are plenty of days where I want to eat mass quantities of them. At that point, I take a step back and…

Make healthier substitutions: sauce on the side/no sauce, side orders of vegetables, etc. Order from the kids' menu if possible. Share an entree with someone. Go grocery shopping and cook your own meal with/for your family.
-
To specifically upset you, OP. Every day, I wake up and say to myself: "How can I upset some random internet troll with my dietary habits?". And the answer is always the same: "Eat prepackaged/restaurant food. That'll really stick in their craw! They'll simultaneously fret in confused anger and be fake concerned all day!"…

The Post is NYC's version of The Daily Fail..I mean Mail.

It's really quite simple: Don't buy it. Replace it with water or herbal tea (assuming sweetened iced tea was the tea you were referring to) To be truthful, there's nothing wrong with diet soda. But if you don't want to drink it, don't. If you can't drink an amount you find manageable, don't. You're making this tougher than…

I like it, though I rarely have it. One time I ate too much of it and had intense nightmares. I might try making my own sometime soon.

Dunno about other people. But Mr. Colossus eats more than I do as a general rule anymore. When we go out for a run though, neither of us is super hungry afterwards. We'll usually have water and a small protein shake anyway.
-
This should prove to be another classic exercise in futility. I can't wait.

Big words are full of toxins and cause cancer. I only use generic words that I can pronounce, because big words are too complicated and are ultimately going to give me brain holes. However, hippopotamuses rule.

Your recall doesn't enter into it. Thanks for the flags, by the way.

Then eat less sugar, stop congratulating yourselves and move the hell on already.

The Food Babe and her idiot followers gave me brain holes to pour my tasty chemicals into.
-
Brain holes brought me back to this thread. And what a thread this has been. Full of anti-artificial sweetener types who proudly showcase their chosen ignorance in an attempt to continually feel superior while masking their irrational fear of chemicals. Glorious. Luckily, the anti-artificial science types came in to clean…

No. I used to be addicted to nicotine though. Guess what I did? I stopped mincing around and quit. Either eat it or don't. It's really no one's business what you choose to do, so pick one of those options and quit pretending that it's a world shattering decision for anyone but yourself. If you seriously believe that…

I can't speak for anyone else, but "eating trash" hasn't made me sick. Blood sugar, blood pressure, thyroid function, LDL cholesterol, etc are all where they should be, according to my doctor. I saw her back in August, so I'm not using old numbers here. My blood pressure used to be high because I smoked, weighed 50 pounds…

I think anything that causes vomiting and dizziness should be avoided if at all possible. Vomiting is second on my list of Things I Hate Most In Life, dizziness being third. OP, don't do this.
-
OP... I'll echo the sentiments of other posters when I say that you should avoid the gimmicky nonsense. The suggestion for making overnight oats is stellar, given that YOU can control exactly what goes into them and what doesn't. No sub-par ingredients or things you don't like. If the little ones like oats and fruit, you…

I used to get this great lotus tea in Chinatown when I lived in NYC. I really miss it. Currently, I'm drinking Dilmah brand Honey Mint tea and Acai Vanilla tea. Both of which are pleasantly fragrant and actually taste like their name. I'll drink decaf black tea on work nights, regular green tea in the mornings.

If I have the calories, I eat the cupcake. If I have some but not enough to eat the entire cupcake, I split it with Mr. Colossus. If I don't have the calories, I have a cup of tea and get over it. Sometimes it's tough, sometimes it's easy. Motivation is irrelevant to me, because it cannot be relied upon for a long time. I…

Did you miss that post from the gentleman who said he asked another man at the gym for advice, OP? Maybe you should try that instead of flailing on your keyboard about how people on the internet are mean and won't help you. You say you don't know how to use the machines, yet you're in a gym. With trainers. And other…

::tips hat:: Enjoy it with my compliments. :]
