£40 a week, I live alone. That's including cleaning products, laundry powder, etc. I buy always buy bran cereal, almond milk, bananas, apples, grapes, orange juice, salad stuff, chicken, tinned soup, frozen veg, chickpeas, houmous, rice, bread, pototoes and tea. Then I get extra stuff if it's on offer. I eat pretty much…

I agree that a 1000 calorie deficit it too aggressive for his goals, yes. Constructive advice though guys, not criticism.

It's his choice if he wants to weigh 130lbs, and as it's still in the healthy weight range for his height I suggest you stop criticising. Just a suggestion.

They are just so comfy! And as a girl who likes girls, I prefer other ladies in them too.

...she called JennaMarbles fat?! Disliking her even more now.

You'll find a pattern that works for you. I wouldn't recommend daily for anyone though, because then you can get obsessed. What works for me is weekly, first thing in the morning after a bathroom visit and wearing nothing but a smile.

Any and all green tea. My favourite at the moment is Twinings gingerbread green tea though, it's amazing!

Thanks for all the advice, guys. I'm going to finish 30DS with the weights I'm using at the minute, then I'm going to start SL 5x5 at the beginning of next month. I'll be able to afford a session with a personal trainer then, which is great. Practicing form and things in the house at the minute, and feeling a bit silly…

Hello everyone! My name's Rachael and I'm 22. I work full-time as a telephonist for a taxi company and volunteer part-time in a charity book shop. I live alone and all my friends are party-heads. Since becoming interested in losing weight and improving my health and fitness I see those friends a lot less (for obvious…

Hi! I've just joined the group and added my details to the spreadsheet. It's nice to meet you all.

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll start reading up. I just read the sticky post about women in the free weights section, so I'm going to have a look for that Starting Strength book too.

The one I always use up the fastest is Cholula, but I always have loads in the cupboard and adore them all with different dishes. Currently in my cupboard I have Cholula, Tabasco, Heinz (the chipotle and habanero kinds), Sriracha and every type of Nando's hot sauce, hahaha! Edited: To fix a typo! Whoops.

Good luck! I've been trying to wean myself off diet coke for a long time now. I'm down from at least 2 litres a day, to having a few cans a couple times a week now, so I think I'm doing okay. It is so addictive! With the exception of last night because I was in a fashion show and champagne was handed to me all night, I've…

That's brilliant!

You're close to my height! Yay!

I'd like to find my twin. I'm 22, female, 6' (yep, I'm massive) and 150lbs.

You can download them for free! And they're all on YouTube. :flowerforyou:

I'm on day 3 of level 1 at the minute.

Actually 22, single, telephonist. I have no idea what a clerk is. American term?

If I could afford it I'd eat Lindt dark chocolate with chilli, but as I can't I buy Sainsbury's basics dark chocolate at 35p a block. I keep it in the fridge broken into chunks and have a chunk every day after dinner. It's only 52% cocoa solids, but at 2p for a 26 calorie block, my purse and my belly are happy.

I had no idea broccoli was high in vitamin C! I do eat a lot of frozen broccoli, so that's really helpful, thanks.

It could potentially be the lack of sleep? Not sleeping properly really does mess with your system. You need that time to rest and for your body to repair. I know it's easier said than done working shifts though! It sounds ridiculous, but I make sure to actually pencil 7 hours of sleep into my diary between shifts. If my…

I'm a shift worker, doing a range of shifts from 0600 - 1200 right through to 2100-0700, sometimes all in the same week. I find that sometimes it has me craving breakfast in the evenings and my main meal (ever had a beer after nightshift and felt guilty about it? haha!) in the morning. But apart from that, I tend to be…
