  • You bring up a good point...I certainly need to get back to logging more accurately so that I can track my macros better. I have gotten lazy about it. And I never thought about the bars and shakes not being accurate...I know other things are terribly off...not sure why I just assumed those weren't!
  • I actually do a lot of plank exercises :( I also do a lot of situps and crunches BUT unfortunately my mid section will forever be saggy I'm afraid. That's what I'm hoping to work on now.   • Check out intermittent fasting. That may be something that will work well for you. Alot of people have great success focusing their food during a set time frame each day.

  • You guys have no idea how much this helps. I was terrified I had screwed up. And while I know I need to work on eating 1200 calories for nutrients that isn't as terrible as feeling like I had screwed up my metabolism. And yes...I've never had my core hurt this GOOD lol. So hopefully the gain is from that.

  • At 1200 calories a day...which is what MFP has set for me...my deficit is more like 1000 to 1200 calories a day. If I were to keep my deficit at 500...I would have to eat closer to 2000.   • I feel the same way! I'm setting small goals. Yes...I have an ultimate goal in mind but right now my goal is to get to 209. I started at 233 and today weighed in at 212.6...20 POUNDS! The mini goals keep me going because otherwise I get discouraged. One pound at a time...over and over again! That is success!
