  • You could do upper body cardio, like punches and things like that.

  • Yea, when I did it, it was really intense. I was just wondering how it measured up to the others.
  • I've been switching off the 20 minute and CP. I was just wondering if I should also switch off with this too? I work 13 hour days 7 days a week, so I like the fact that its 30 minutes. I thought it was pretty good and pretty intense, but I've only been doing TJ for 2 weeks.
  • Maybe thats what it is...I'm having trouble getting the side and front squats down. I have been doing the 20 minute more so now I have it down pretty good. Thanks! I'll keep working on it. I also bought Fat Blaster, has anyone tried that?
  • I am doing it right now..I'm on Day 4...The first day I was so sore, I couldn't do it for 2 days because I was in a lot of pain. Even though its only Day 4, I can already feel my endurance and my body changing. I am one of those people who will quit a workout, but Jillian is so motivating, its almost impossible to!
  • Clearly, you have never owned a grocery store. I stock shelves, lifting 25-50 pound boxes all day long as well as taking care of customers, sweeping and mopping the store several times a day...which is no simple task. I appreciate your advice, but don't assume you know what my job entails.
  • Well the thing with that is, we just opened the store, so my body really isn't used to it. I went from working 20 hours at a desk to working 40 hours on my feet.
  • I work 2 jobs and go to school full time. Obviously at school I am sitting and at one of my jobs I am also sitting at a desk. However, my family owns a store and I am constantly moving around the entire time I am there. I spend most of my time there...how do I account for the calories I burn?
  • My boyfriend has the same problem with vitamins and he takes 2 Flinstone vitmains. They don't seem to bother him and he is getting all the minerals and vitamins he needs.
  • I was on the pill for a while and I swithced to the Nuva Ring, mostly for convienence, but now I hate it. When I go back to the dr, I am going to go back on the pill. I gained almost 25 pounds this year from the Nuva Ring.
  • How do you know when to change levels?
  • I am thinking of buying the Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. Does anyone else have it? Do you like it?
  • I don't see why it would cause any problems with weight loss. I use Splenda flavorings for coffee, they are delicious and they are no calories. I also used lite powdered creamer which is less than 10 calories per serving.
  • I have the exact same problem. I am all or nothing. I eat really good or I eat really bad. If you ever figure out how to stop it, let me know!!
  • Read this article. It says just walking in water you can burn 285 more calories than on land because of the resistance. http://www.humankinetics.com/mediasvr/MarketingPDFs/Pappas%20Baun/Pappas_3-5.pdf
  • Thanks very much
  • As I have mentioned before, I do most of my workouts in the pool. I run in the water for about 30 mins a day. I run 2 laps and then I break the current with 2 laps and so on. I think that it must burn more calories than land running because you have water resistance against you. Does anyone know how to log that into my…
  • I found the same thing. I bought turkey burgers and my friend bought beef burgers and there wasn't much of a difference because hers were made of lean ground beef.
  • I already have some noodles, so now I'm all set. Thanks!
  • In my home, there is a link to add friends. Sorry you had such a bad breakup, I can imagine how that might make you feel. You'll feel much better about yourself once you commit to being healthy.
  • I only have a 12ft round pool so actual swimming isn't very easy to do because they're isn't much room, but I run in the water, do squats and other excercises. Does it have the same kind of benefits? I just hate the hot weather, and I hate to make excuses why I don't excercise, so I figured this is better than nothing!
  • I work in real estate and I know how frustrating buying a home can be. Hopefully you get the champagne because its a lot better than a jail cell!! Good luck!
  • I am having some difficulty finding the energy to work out these days because it is just way too hot for me. Being from Buffalo, NY, 87 degrees is really hot for me. I have been trying to go in my pool and swim as much as possible. I was just wondering if anyone has lost weight by doing this and if this is a good…
  • ok, thanks!
  • Has anyone tried the Wii Fit? I was thinking about buying it, but I though I'd ask for opinions first. Thanks
  • Yes, I did like it a lot. They have people on there from the show that actually lost the weight by doing this program. I always feel like it is so much harder for me than it is for others, but this shows you that everyone struggles, you just have to learn to push through it. At the beginning, the former Biggest Losers…
  • I just did the Biggest Loser Workout DVD, the first preset workout, and I am not sure how to log it into my excercise log. I don't want to give myself too many extra calories. Any help would be great thanks.
  • I know...I just called my dr. and I haven't had one in 12 years, so I have to go get one after work.
  • ok, thanks everyone for the suggestions!
