  • I'm still here with it.. Definitely staying under my calories.. Trying to hit the gym at least 4-6 times a week for 45 minutes on the elliptical machine. I have a friend I go with.. so we hold each other accountable.. I certainly wouldn't have made it this long there without her and God's help!

Hit the elliptical machine for 45 minutes today.. it is hard to get motivated.. but I felt great afterwards!! Hang in there everyone!
  • If you are able to track your calories thru-out the day.. that's the best.. then, when u see that you're creeping up to your max.. you might choose dinner.. or snacks a bit different in the evenings.. .... just a thought :)

  • I am a complete SCALE JUNKIE! I weigh myself at least 10 times a day. I have to! I'm afraid I won't lose weight if I'm not holding myself accountable. I do realize that I'm always 3.5 lbs heavier at night.. but by morning... it's gone.. and then some. I know what to expect from my scale... :heart:

  • As well as exercising and eating in moderation :wink: make sure that you are taking in your daily amount of fiber! I changed my breakfast to two english muffins that have 100 calories each and 8 grams of fiber.. The fiber really fills you up and will sustain you longer. So my 200 calories for breakfast is probably less…
  • There is a place around the corner from where I am.. A Hawaiian spot.. and they have Shaved Ice! I quickly learned the difference! The ice is soo smooth.. it's like eating snow! Yum.. it does sound good!

The difference is this: The high impact aerobics obviously will burn more calories than a 'less strenuous' work out on a treadmill.   • Don't worry about it LML.. we've all been there! A bit of advice for next time would be to try to plan your visit. Look through their menu and find something that's in your calorie range.. if there's nothing.. go for it.. just don't eat the whole thing.. and if you do.. there's always tomorrow!! :flowerforyou:

  • I would have to agree mrsyac! When ever I'm at the gym and they play the Rocky theme song.. I notice I start moving faster.. Funny how that works. It is very peppy!
