  • Life in general is all about goals. Weight loss and changing your life is obviously about setting goals. Small ones and then our personal overall goal weight. But, I personally believe that since we are not just dieting here we are making lifestyle changes that we have to make other types of goals besides just what the…

  • I go with the 99% turkey breast only. It is a little bland and rubbery, but I use it in things like spaghetti
  • That is why thank you lord they made blasted 100 cal packs WOOOO!!!! I had to explain to my husband that A. You have to suck the cheese powder off each one before eating it B. It is not a cheese craving/addiction....It is a cheese flavor addiction...totally different...
  • WOOOOOO!!! I can't wait till I can say 10 lbs!
  • ?Your experience brought tears to my eyes. I lost a baby to spinabifida but I cant imagine going through it 4 times. I think you have some of the best motivation around. This has been a great place for a lot of people with a variety of different health and emotional issues. If you get bogged down or need motivation share…

  • I love it here. I don't know what has made it different, but it has been different. I have had some good days and some bad in the last month, but I LOST and havent gained any back. When I am feeling fat and get discouraged (like a couple of days ago) I come and my cheerleaders kick me in the butt again! Good luck and keep…
  • I feel the same about cheezits. I like the box that have the 2 flavors mixed. I can and have sit and eat almost a whole box. I just dont buy them. I try to avoid the whole cracker aisle. What I buy instead is the flavor blasted gold fish100 cal pack. I think they taste better than the reduced fate cheezits or their 100 cal…
  • I am Amy too. But I don't think you want me either:laugh:
  • I don't have the wii fit (asked for it for bday in 2 weeks though) but5 I personally would go with the lighter weight:)

  • I saw that commercial last night...I think it physicaly hurt to watch
  • I eat my daughters peach and cherry puffs all the time...lol! I went over by 1300 today(pot luck at work). I have been doing really good and the guilt is overwhelming right now. Knowing ALL the work I have done this week is nullified now. But, you have to learn from it and try again tomorrow. I think I will do better now…
  • I am in...I HAVE to do them:)
  • I do love lucky charms...I have been losing 2 lbs a week so like I said I cant complain, but it sucks that I cant tell. I do feel a lot better about myself (most the time) for getting back into my PT. And you are right, David no woman looks attractive in that uniform no matter how skinny!
  • calves or shins?
  • You have to keep your goals in mind. You might enjoy that beer right then, but regret it when you get on the scale. I would trade beer for rum and diet. You will save some cals. When you eat out dont trick yourself (I think all of us do it in our head) that it will be ok. Sometimes I feel like a crackhead after I have…
  • I had about 28 lbs to lose, I have lost 6. I hate to sound like an ingrate, but I can't see or feel a difference. I mean I look exactly the same. When I have told people at work I lost that much, they are like huh...can't tell. Just frustrated I guess. Other people tell me you can really start to tell when you hit the 10…
  • just eat a stick of butter:) Kidding. No dont eat them if you dont have the calories. You do need some good fat in your diet though. Add full fat dressing, cheese, or some olive oil to your diet to even it out. I can't say it is a problem I have ever had...lol:laugh:
  • After 3 weeks of MAKING myself get out there and do it 5-6 days a week now I hate the days and feel wierd the days I don't. You will get there just MAKE yourself do it. good luck on the scale!!!
  • push ups are my weakness. I just dont have a strong chest. I have been working with an Army guy though. His advice to me was pump out as many as I can and then go to knee pushups. He said it isnt giving up because you are still working the muscles and eventually you will get up to where you want to be. He said the same…
  • now, to qualify as an "official" push-up you have to "break the plane" meaning your elbows have to break 90 degrees. The way to measure it for yourself is to put something under your chest that is about as tall as your fist like you are holding a coffee cup. After 2 years of none I can do about 5. I need to do about 16 in…
  • I will take all of that and add supermoist choc. cake, chicken and dmplings from cracker barrel, a big cheeseburger with shake from jack in the box, A gyro from Mina and Dimi's with oven potatos and lots and lots of baklava!! I forgot the home made yeast rolls with real butter... And after reading everyone's it is no…
  • I don't know but we sent this guy to rescue him:laugh: I hope that worked...lol
  • If you put yourself as moderately active and you arent accounting for that once every month that you have to jog for 30 mins yeah I would log it. Also, you can always get a Heart Rate monitor (if you are allowed to wear it under your uniform I am not) and add those extras.
  • I am really in ove with the pilates right now, after 2 kids the tummy is definately not the same as when I was 20. But, it is worthless for cardio (according to my HRM). I have lost 2 inches off my waist though doing pilates and I guess that is all that really matters:smile:
  • WOOOOO!!!! You are done with the physical part. Now you can tell yourself it is all in your head when you want one. Get through the first week and you are home free.
  • I did the Firm pilates with the ball last night. It only burned 99 by my HRM but it was a good ab work out
  • Have you ever had his say "oh, I'll babysit for you." Like he is doing you a favor in taking care of his own children? Thats my favorite!
