  • Help me...my husband is taking me out to eat to Chilies tonight...I know me, I will go with every intention of eating good, but then I will open the menu... Does anyone have suggestions on what to eat that is not the bad for me? If I know what I am going to eat before I get there, I won't be as inclined to open the menu…
  • that sounds absolutly delicious!!!!
  • Wow...talk about your success story!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!
  • Brush your teeth...I read somewhere that when you are craving food but are not really hungry...if you brush your teeth with a minty toothpaste it is supposed to curve the appetite. It acually works for me...plus once I brush my teeth I don't allow myself to eat again. But they say it is something in the minty flavor that…
  • I did the picture thing too...I took all my junk food in my whole house and consolidated it to once small area in my kitchen...and I have a really hideous picture of me blown up to a 5x7 and taped it to the front of the cabinet door!!!! so everytime I go into the "junk area" I see that picture...it seems to be working so…
  • I am the exact same way exept vice versa!!! I can do hours on my treadmil, but after about 7 min on the elliptical I am DYING...I think maybe the reason why is your body is used to the type of movements your doing on the elliptical, so when you change up the scene a bit, it has to adjust? I'm guessing by the way I am no…

I started to get tired but I…

  • I did not want to go grocery shopping so I did this instead... Took chicken breast and cubed them to bite size, put them in a skillet with some chopped onions, little olive oil, 1/2 cup corn (frozen or canned) and some cipoltle salt free seasoning. Cooked it up. For the kids I put it on a tortilla with some cheese and make…
  • I think you should go by your polar, and I believe the reason is your polar caculates more acuratly because it uses your heart rate as a guide to how hard your working out. The calories burned on this website is a basic for the "average" person. But your polar is more specific to you. I always go by my heart rate monitor.…
  • Whats it called...just "carb burner"? That would be perfect for me. B/C my problem is finding the time to work out...if I could do a few 10 min workouts periodically throughout the day it would be great!!!
  • Its in there under Cardio...go to your exercise log and click add cardio...type in Breast Feeding...I think the calories burned are 500 per 60 min? something like that. You can add exercises that are not in there! You just click on "add unlisted cardio exercise" And type in all the info...just like food. Hope this helps…

  • I would go with the less fat...Sorry about your bad day...hope you have a better one tomorrow! Go with which ever one will make this terrible day end a little better, then start the day over again. You said you are working out in the am right?
  • I am way under my calories (not on purpose) but I wasn't paying close attention to what I was eating, and I am over my sodium by 1000mg!!! OMG...I can't believe I did that! I did well all day, but for dinner I had some progresso soup, they advertise that stuff for being healthy right? WRONG!!! yeah the calories are awesome…
  • Every body is different...I work out from 9-10 pm...sometimes longer depending on the stress of the day...but with 2 kids and working 11-12 hour days, I don't have time any where else to fit it in...and I think its better than nothing right? I am always in bed before 11pm. Once I'm done with a workout, I take a…
  • I hear you with the 12 hour days...my husband works nights, so when I get off my 12 hour shift, I have to pick up the kids, do homework, cook dinner, give baths, dress in jammies, clean up after dinner, and still try to find time to get in a decent work out. Don't stress out about going over your calories for one day...And…
