Also, I do cardio either two or three times per week. Since you have issues with your feet I'd say a stationary bike might be a safe bet. A cross trainer is good for your joints, but you'll still be on your feet for quite a while so a bike is better until you're feeling 100%. Use the interval setting for a higher burn.

Start now! Honestly, I've never seen so many positive changes in my body in such a short space of time (8 inches lost overall in 3 weeks). There's no reason to delay diet either. Follow the -20% TDEE plan (or 15% if you want to lose slower) and you'll lose at a safe and steady pace. Do heavy lifts-low reps instead of low…

No one's too lazy to eat. It's a basic need, so we all find a way to get food. It sounds more like an ED. When she works out she feels she's allowed to eat, but when she doesn't she's basically starving herself. Does she have postpartum depression? What are her energy levels like? Have you expressed outright that you're…

So you're saying your lungs hurt? You're really not being very clear. Either way, visit a doctor first. Get a check up, then ask for recommendations on how to warm up and exercise. An asthmatic cannot jump into exercise as quick as a non-asthmatic. You need to start up slowly to warm your lungs and muscles up then interval…

It's really going to vary person to person. I love running. I just blast some music and go. Or I'll play some podcasts like Dan Savage, or put on a show like Supernatural (though you miss 70% of the content cause you can't really concentrate :grumble:) I also really liked martial arts and dancing. It might be worth it to…

You do not need to gain or lose weight. At all. I have the opposite problem, in that I see someone much fatter than I am. The only thing that makes me feel like I'm beautiful (or at least present a realistic view of myself) is by exercising. When I don't run or lift I feel incredibly unattractive. I can literally feel like…

This. I feel like people expect that they need to find a diet/workout that will thrill them to pieces, so it will no longer be hard work. There are workouts that are easier/funner than others, but any exercise worthwhile will never be a cake walk. You do it because of the benefits, not because you really really feel like…

How heavy are you lifting and how many reps? Also it's possible you're doing too much in one area, i.e. too many leg exercises. I lift heavy as well (Stronglifts program) and I honestly haven't felt any significant soreness since week 1. Only tired limbs.

Can't believe I'm almost there! This is my first month cycling :D

Lololol same here XD

Meh, most people (men OR women) who make it a point to call out what they don't find attractive are typically full of chit  The only time someone's declared me "too tall" to be attractive was a guy who actually fancied me. So there's that. While I'm sure a lot of guys like/love girls who are short/shorter than them,…

I do, I do! But opinion on what's nice will vary. My friend loves big round booties on men, whereas I like small tight ones (no way to sound not perverted on this one :blushing:). I like the upside down triangle look - broad shoulders, and the rest is straight and narrow.

Yep. It's a nasty situation, but it's almost over. Be sure to tell your sister to stfu when you leave.
-
What an inspiration! You overcame it all. Congratulations!

It's working wonderfully for me. I've lost almost 8 inches in three weeks. Before it would take ages to lose that amount.

You're not supposed to eat at BMR. You're supposed to eat at TDEE -20-25%

In all my unkempt glory. Which goes on 99.9% of the time. I'm not doing anyone's eyes any favours, I'm too lazy :smokin:

Such a cool picture! Did you push a Persian down a well and yell THIS IS SCHPARTA???
-
No offence, but stop listening to daft teenage girls. Any adult knows that big butts are basically adored. How many other body parts get songs devoted to them? I don't even think your bum is all that large, it's just that you have a very small waist so it looks big in comparison. Which is a great thing! Especially…

This fixed my squat 100% http://www.schwarzenegger.com/fitness/post/picking-the-squat-thats-rght-for-you Before that I couldn't get it. At all :noway: I'm 6'3, so that squat form for shorties was not cutting it, bruh.

Coooolllllll!!! So fudging kawaii, bruh.

You should both just compulsively spoon feed each other. That way neither of you will be jealous and you won't have to prevent him from leaving the house like he's a beer hunting toddler.
-
No. Everyone talks behind my back because I'm a giant and they don't want to get squooshed. But it's annoying all the same. Just look at them, call them morons (or a 'maroon' for the sake of not getting in trouble) and walk away.
-
I don't know why comments would make you doubt whether or not to continue losing weight. YOU feel good. What else matters?
-
Meh. My next door neighbours trampoline had a weight limit of 250lbs, but I went on with my cousins and another kid and I weigh over 200 myself. No damage done still all, and we went on just about everyday lol.

I wait until the worst of the cramps have passed (usually 3-4 hours) and then I run. Running actually helps my cramps A LOT.

Nose piercing that I can't be without (had it since I was 14), and of course ears pierced but I don't wear earrings as I'm not a big fan of jewellery. Two tattoos, one on my shoulder (got it when I was 15) and one on my wrist (18). The former isn't great art, but I love it got purely nostalgic value. It's a baby tiger. The…

I'm jealous that you live next to running trails! I live next to a motorway

It totally depends on your personality type and your fitness ability. I'm a pretty athletic person, BUT i need some kind of program to follow to 1) gage my progress, and 2) make sure I'm not doing too little/much. So the C25K plan is great for me. But if you hate that kind of 'Do this, now do that' plan then just getting…
