I went cold turkey. I occasionally have a Diet Dr. Pepper and that's it. The rest of the time I drink water. I had to quit cold turkey or I'd never have stopped drinking sodas. lol.

It might also be about the quality of food you're eating. Salads are always a great meal. They generally aren't calorie heavy so you can grab several servings. But the good thing is at least for me, is I'm less likely to grab for a second or third serving. Grilled chicken is also excellent for this.

Personally, I've found that making breakfast my biggest meal of the day works best for me. It wards off the hunger for about 2 hrs which by then is snack time. I eat between 100-160 calories for a snack which will hold me another two hrs until lunch time. A common lunch for me is 230-290 calories. Two hrs after that,…

Tip for Women: Appreciate us more. When we do an uncommon chore (i.e. sweep the kitchen, wash the dishes) don't tell us how we did it wrong. Just thank us. And while we're asleep correct it lol.

Another thing I would encourage(after viewing your diary) is to structure the meals and snacks you do eat. Be more conscience. I think a typical meal should be between 270-400 calories. It would be beneficial to not eat as heavy at night for dinner. Keep your snacks between 100-160 calories.

I'm pretty new here. And never post on the forums. The point isn't to starve yourself. Give yourself enough food to be satisfied (not full). Eat a small snack every two hours (100-150 calories).
