I use fitbit flex and I find it incredibly accurate. I have maintained and lost weight, etc. due to the numbers on the fitbit tracker in comparison to daily calories.

The candy I ate still actually fit into my calories, but even if it did not, going over by 300 is better than going over by 1000. So, if you need it and you want it, go for the food you are craving, just respect your body and listen to its signals!

I have about 10 or less pounds to lose, so I would like or lose some fat and gain some muscle, just a little, not a dramatic amount, I am currently not following a plan for weight training, but I have information on weight training so I know which muscles to work.

If I take off work, I take off my workout. I would follow the rule if it is below your neck DON"T workout, but if it is above, then it go for it, but take it slow.

Is the burn projected based off of what it THINKS you will burn? Also, lastly, it could be that you burned those calories while you sleep- similar to BMR. Thoughts?

You are all right about eating above maintenance. I have been, and obviously my bodies know too ;) I think that on top of my massive stressful life has me gaining fat. :-( but today is a NEW DAY!!

Thank you for your insight. My life right now is very hectic and sleep has been minimal. I am gaining fat, particularly belly fat but I am going to concentrate on getting my health in line by getting more sleep. Also, thank you everyone for the suggestions. :-)

I know I eat enough calories, it is an emotional thing. If I feel like I have done "bad" or cant recover... I binge! :(
