  • Winelands, South Africa :)
  • Someone clears our their plate and when you have leftovers it's "wasting when someone in Africa is starving". Be my guest, send it to them please! However, if it's in my plate or down my throat, it will end up in the wastebox.
  • I am 5'6 and pear shaped. My initial goal was a "perfect 10 (UK)", but that sort of doesn't work on a pear. I am completely content with my UK8 top and UK10 bottoms. However, I was ECSTATIC the other day when I had to exchange a UK10 for a UK8 because it was too big!! I think it may have just been the cut of the shorts,…
  • Consider plain skim chocolate milk. Post workout benefits without the funny stuff.
  • Me too! Plus extra hydration. You can wean yourself off the milk eventually. A block of dark chocolate every now and then helps too. Why not go directly to the source of the craving :)
  • Soooo goood. And have you actually tried it in tea? It's the only way I can drink it black. Honey tastes sweeter than sugar so you have more sweetness for less calories. I think two cups of tea a day with half a teaspoon of sugar is fine, by the way. If it's too gross without sugar, don't drink it without sugar, especially…
  • If you love running or walking, the treadmill is a good idea. I find that the expensive gym fees and the gym environment keeps me motivated. It may take some trial and error to decide what works best for you, though. Just stay safe!
  • Congrats! You've just made me excited, I am doing my first half-marathon in July. Your time is great, especially after an injury xx
  • Drink both, that way you get extra and you won't have to wonder :) I think water may be more hydrating than milk, which is the reason we have to do this first thing in the morning right?
  • Firstly, Happy Birthday! May this year be full of fulfilled dreams and ambitions :) This is something that really helps me: Write down your goals and your motivations. I saw, for example, that you would like to become a trainer? Great! Now everytime you want to eat something unhealthy or feel demotivated, remember that…
  • Thank you!
  • I haven't figured it out yet... Please help?
  • I weigh myself every time I go to the gym (their scales are more accurate) and always at more or less the same time. Probably 4 to 6 times a week and before the gym session. I used to be afraid to weigh myself when I know I'd overindulged thus causing a rollercoaster effect of weight gain. I would make regular excuses like…

  • I am in too! I have about 14 to go, want to get rid of 10 before the end of June. What are your plans of action? I'm finding the last 10 to be sticky little suckers. They just won't budge!
  • I was seriously considering the same topic not minutes ago! I too am caffeine dependant and just today decided to cut back on my cuppacino addiction. Though for financial reasons. I drink it waaaaay too much. I use coffee to kill cravings so it actually aids my weight-loss! Sadly, as with all good things, moderation is…
  • I am new too! And I have the exact same problem, it's my biggest downfall. My go-to item is coffee. It's not all that healthy but I find it helps stem the cravings. I've reduced the sugar to almost nothing and just a splash of milk so I don't feel too guilty. A better alternative is tea with a bit of honey. Apparently it's…
