That's how I eat too, that way I don't get too stressed about eating and calories. I don't mind going over my goal (which is losing 0.5lbs per week) and maintaining for a while. I just try not to go over my TDEE calories.

Well if you are curvy and happy about it then the number on the scale doesn't matter! I'm 5'6" and 142lbs. I'd like to lose around 10lbs but I might switch to maintaining if my butt becomes too flat (I like my round booty  )

Shoulders and arms.. :weary:

This^ Many people in this site seem to consider protein as the ultimate macro-god and increase their intake like there's no tomorrow. Everything in moderation guys!

:joy: Thanks for keeping this alive!

^this! I'll have to agree with mom2kpr and here are some more links, supporting the 0.8g per kg protein intake! http://fnic.nal.usda.gov/fnic/interactiveDRI/ this is a DRI calculator, it is much more reliable than the ones in bodybuilding sites and the ones set from companies that try to sell protein shakes, powders etc.…

I don't mind the "every-other-day" diet, but your calories seem really low to me. 2000 calories for 2 days gets you to 1000 calories/day. I don't think that's healthy for your height. I would suggest you to calculate your daily calories with MFP or Scooby's calculator (…

Seriously, it IS easier (not easy) for us who are smaller! Try and get motivated when you can't even do a single push-up because you arms can't lift all this weight. It's not only about the steps that you need to take in order to get to your goal, it's also about how you feel about it and how motivated you are. Heavier…

You can just trick your mind into thinking it has all the chocolate it wants! You can add chocolate chips on your cereal in the morning or on top of a juicy fruit salad as a snack. This way your tummy will be full and you won't randomly attack the chocolate chips' bag devouring all of it's content :sunglasses:

@indoubt tip for thick ankles! (mine are huge.. ) Try shoes with the Mary Jane strap, it's the one that goes around your instep instead of going around your ankle. Makes a huge difference! ;)

Tracking calories may be boring, but having a strong and healthy body isn't! MFP helps you realise what is actually in your meals, and how beneficial it is for your body. You can either take that information and do something great for yourself or leave it and try other methods. Different things work for different people.…

In my opinion you look awesome! But it doesn't matter as long as you can't see that. The biggest mistake we make is comparing our body to others. When we start losing weight we usually imagine our ideal body using someone elses image, our friends legs, our sisters abs, some celebrity's butt etc. So we set our goals with…

My daily goal is 1730 but I'm losing weight faster than expected so I might increase that. I also eat some of my exercise calories. I'm 5'6" (168cm) and weigh 144 pounds (65.5kg)

"You are cyber bullies"??!?!?!?!? I just can't stop laughing! It seems that you are the hater here. You hate your past self and everyone that resembles that. You seem full of fears and insecurities and hiding all that behind your perfect muscular body. I wonder if you trully love yourself, or just your new body..…

I agree that you shouldn't stay "normal" in things you love! We all have different priorities though. So each one of us wants to become a "freak" in different things. I see this thread as an invitation to everyone here, to chase their goals for a year without slacking. I'm in for that! BTW I want to become a physics' freak…

day 21: dead  I did 180 squats.. but I don't think I can walk anymore.

^^ The best thing I read today! :drinker:

Ladies it's not a "problem". I'm the same and I find this awesome! I'm a 5'6" pear 35.5 / 28.5 / 42 Our bodies in terms of fat are "pear" shaped since we store most of the fat around our hips. But our frame and shoulders are kind enough to make us look more like an "hour-glass"!!

I've lost a human head! (I knew it was gonna be something weird  )

No way! I like variety or I'll get bored and end up eating more than I should (in order to add the "different" taste). If I cook for myself I may eat the same food for 2-3 days. But I'll definitely cook something different after that. The only meal that's usually the same is breakfast.
