Congrats on becoming a mother! Good for you for getting back on track! Life is a lot different once you have kids :-) Feel free to add me if you want!

Hi everyone. I'm mary I am a mom of 3 and I work full time. I have recently started running again and am aiming to do the biggest loser half marathon in September in my area. I have a lot of weight to lose still. I was able to lose over 100lbs before I had my kids but put most of it back on during my pregnancies. I tend to…

21 day fix has absolutely worked for me. No more having to log every calorie is sooo liberating!
-
I started Month 2 on Monday! Month 1 was good hope you enjoy it. I'm loving month 2 even more!
-
the base kit is enough. You can do the whole program with just that.

Are you doing P90 or Power 90? Power 90 is an older program P90 just came out.
-
great everyone! I'm excited to do this. I will have a facebook group too if anyone is interested.

depends what your goals our. PiYo has really helped me with core strength and flexibility. If you want to strength train I suggest chalean extreme cardio: T25 or inasnity if you want crazy intensity combo of both P90X or if that is too much try P90 Also Jillian michaels has some great DVDs

I Love love love love love chalean extreme! It's one of my favorite programs. You really learn how to lift weights properly and that you CAN lift heavy!

As long as you have worked out before yes you can do it! I did it when I was 260lbs and had great results. Just listen to your body if you have knee pain then take it easy on the jumping! I would say no if you had never worked out a day in your life but if you are able to workout for 40-60 minutes you should be fine. You…

I do 18:6 during the week and try to do 20:4 on the weekends. I tend to be a night time eater so it works for me because I can eat in the evenings and I don't do the whole day fasts because no one in my family would want to be around me but I know some people like it. I still count my calories so I'm not "binging" or over…

You need to throw out your scale and not worry about it. Take measurements and just focus on the positive changes you are making and on being healthy! I know it's hard to do but once you are closer to your goal weight the scale doesn't move like it did in the beginning and the scale should not be your only measurement…

I can't believe a nurse would tell you all that. Lifting weights does not make you heavier, in fact it will speed up your metabollism. I would say focus on your diet and keep doing cardio and weights. I have tried the all cardio method and although I lost weight it came right back on, you want to keep it off and do it the…

agreed.

I'm new to running and will be doing other programs besides running but I'm up for this challenge!
-
I don't know how long you run but I run outside from about 6:30-7 and it's light out by then. They days are getting longer so at least your window will open up soon.

I found this app too but can't use it because they only let you check in at a gym and I work out at home or use run keeper and i use runtastic. My phone is small and don't have a lot of room for a lot of apps. I like dietbet a lot more I actallly have made money on that site.

So true! I just started running outside and I think treadmills are harder and boring and harder on your joints. Just start slowly outside a few min to start and keep adding to it.
