Make a calendar for the month and schedule your workouts INCLUDING rest days and then X them out when done. I also am "all or nothing type" So this is what I do and it works for me. If it's scheduled I do it and if it's a rest day scheduled that's what I do! I have just lately been having a hard time taking a rest day but…

Good luck and have fun! Make sure you follow Shaun T on FB if you can he really helps! He is doing the program now himself and it's nice to see the man who created it do it and even STRUGGLE!

Exercise alone doesn't burn lbs but when combined with a healthy diet it adds to the caloric deficit. I know I have always exercised but until I watch what I eat the weight does not come off. Exercise has it's many other health benefits as well of course!

Yes I have done insanity twice and when I started I was 260lbs so I say it can be done if you are heavier. Note that it was not my first time working out I do think you need to have some kind of fitness level. I personally did not have any knee or joint problems with it but if you are heavier while doing it you should be…

Yes this happens to me. When I'm working out at a higher intensity sometimes I go longer between cycles which is perfectly fine with me! If you think you could be pregnant take a dollar store test just to ease your mind then go back to working out and eating right!

You need to get your daughter on a schedule. I know you can't help when she wakes up but she should have a set bedtime. You then could workout when she goes to bed or I don't know how old she is but I have kids 2, 5 and 7 and if they are up and around when I'm wokring out they just play near me or join in with me. It's a…

You would be surprised! I started IF 16/8 last Thursday and was FINALLY able to stay within my calories, something I have been struggling with for months. And I was not even hungry when it was time to eat and have been having trouble actually fitting in my calories. I am still new at it but it seems to be working for me…

I use both but I used a HRM for years before getting a fitbit and cant workout without one! the HRM tells you your HR (obviously) where the fitbit just calculates how many calories you are buring. the fitbit will calcualate pretty accuratelty ( I have tested it agains my HRM) for cardio exercises but not for weight lifting…

I believe this is true. I am still way overweight and trying hard to lose but I do exercise reguarly and have been for years and according to my dr. I am as healthy as anyone at normal weight so other than being in the "obese" category on the scale I have no health factors that she is concerned with. Of course I'm trying…

Why do you get to judge others? We are all here because we struggle with eating right and we are TRYING to change ourselves for the better. Are we all perfect? No. Are we all human and enjoy a treat once in a while? Yes. Why did you eat Moe's Southwest Grill - Side of Tortilla Chips? Why do you drink Diet coke? Who knows…

I'm right there with you. I know I can do it because I've lost over 100lbs before but I have to be really strict with my diet to lose and it comes off slow but it is possible! If your thyroid is regulated by medication then it is working pretty much the same as soneone with a normal functioning thyroid just ours takes…

I think everyone on this site is pretty much eating less and working out (not really a trick) I do like the tips that have been given they are very helpful! I have found everyone is different and eating several times a day might work for one person but not another. It's trial and error until you learn what YOUR body needs…

Yes I have done it at 240 lbs and 260 lbs it's possible. YOu have to have some sort of fitness level not someone just starting at fitness but if you have been working out I say go for it. There are moves you might not be able to do but you do them the best you can! You might not be able to do what he's doing for as long…

Th4ere is a huge event on FB with John Cogdon (one of the creators of Beachbody) who is doinga challenge for P90X starting Nov 12th.

I've done CE twice and loved it although the cardio got too boring but you could swap in insanity! THe weight workourts are great though! P90X I am doing with out a pullup bar. I use bands for pullups on my closet door with a rolll of packing tape. It's plenty challenging with that!

I started Sept 10th and in my 2nd recoveyr week can't wait for month 3!!

Only on my weekly weigh in day. If I gain or lose during the week I don't log it if I weigh myself

Great advice!

You do not have to buy from a coah to have someone coach you. Most coaches are willing to help you out no matter if you are their "custmer" or not. However I do strongly advise against buying from a 3rd party. when you buy from beachbody or a coach you get a quality guarantee. If anything should happend to one of your DVDs…
