I have really been focusing lately on how much water I am drinking and trying to push myself to drink more! It sure does make a difference in how I feel! It's amazing how one little change can lead to other changes!
Tomorrow I'm starting a 7 day water challenge to encourage others to do the same.
If anyone wants to join me send me a friend request or a message I'd love to have you join us! We have over 400 people taking the challenge!

Just make sure your urine is not cloudy or brownish. Yellow color is perfectly ok.
You should be able to "read a pretend newspaper" at the bottom of your toilet.
I like to drink a glass of water between meals and with meals. Does the trick.
With your aggressive protein goal, consider a glass or two more.

I already drink plenty, so won't join the challenge, but I wanted to say "Good Job!". Water is essential for our bodies to function properly. Drinking enough keeps the entire nutrient absorbing and waste removal system (kidneys, whole digestive system) working at their best. It also helps the skin, muscles, circulation, etc. There is a reason the body retains water when it needs to repair something. Yes, you can drink too much (tends to only happen with idiots who try to drink a gallon or more in a short amount of time on a dare or athletes who sweat a lot and don't replace electrolytes) but the average person does not have to worry about it, you just have higher water bills from flushing the toilet more than usual.

@earlnabby If the water is yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down. ;)

Grrrrr I wish people would make up their minds on this one:

Fluids that contain caffeine, such as coffee and tea, don’t help increase hydration levels because they act as diuretics.

Livestrong is about as reliable a source as Dr. Oz.
