I put a pound of boneless skinless chicken breasts in the crock pot, sprinkle 2 tbsp of homemade taco seasoning on top, and then dump in a 16oz jar of salsa. Then, I cook it on low all day and shred it up when I get home from work. So good and juicy! The leftover chicken is really good in scrambled eggs too.

Bean soup, chili, dal, stuffed peppers, bean salad, a variation on hummus, etc. You can make a lot of things with beans. Just remember that if you use dry beans, they'll quadruple in size after you soak them.

You're welcome! Honestly, I don't think the flour was even necessary. I'm going to try it without next time. We'll see what happens!

Here's the recipe. I ended up using regular flour because I forgot I was out of almond flour. I was really ticked off about that. Then, I forgot to put the eggs in. Grr! But, they still tasted good! I used a creole seasoning, used onions instead of scallions, added 1/2 c of chopped celery, and eliminated the parsley, hot…

Good idea! Thank you!

Eat more. Seriously. If you're consuming 1400 calories or fewer and working out, you're not eating enough. And for heaven's sake, eat the whole egg! The yoke has way more nutrients than the whites.

Thank you! I thought about checking into essential oils and supplements. I've gone to Whole Foods for various things before and they always seem knowledgeable. Maybe I'll do some research and go talk to them too. Those are about the only 2 things I haven't tried in my life. I just think it's so weird that I've been…

I eat pretty fast. I'm limited on time to eat at work and at home I have to eat super fast before the baby starts fussing. But, I eat a normal sized meal and wait because I know it takes awhile for the fullness signal to get from my stomach to my brain. I'm going to try lowering carbs and increasing protein and fat. We'll…

I'm not on any meds, but I'm wondering if they jacked me up and I need to do something to fix it. I'll try lowering my carb intake a bit and upping my protein. I've done South Beach before and it was hell so I decided doing something that drastic wasn't for me. Moderation, right? Luckily, I love things like quinoa and make…

I'm with you. I'm so sorry for your loss. Let's move on and not beat ourselves up for letting life get in the way. We can start new now and keep going. We'll have bumps along the way, but we'll get there. We can do it!

My boyfriend has one of those IcyHot tens unit therapy things that he swears by. He's had back problems forever and he wears that thing almost like it's a permanent part of him.

I know the feeling. I did squats the other day and gagged a little when my gut was hanging over the sides of my legs.

Suck it up and eat a banana. :-P

Mine are green. :)

A reliable car. I don't care if it looks like a dump. As long as it'll run for a good, long while without spewing coolant at me, I'd be happy.

I'm 30 and I want to lose 10 lbs for sure. My main goal is to replace my fat with muscle. I just need to lose those few pounds so that I can pass my stupid health screening at work.

I think I just fell in love with you!

My coworker always tells me to "bump" my butt. Like fist bump your butt cheeks. I think he's nuts.

My HRM says I burn a ton more than MFP tells me. My heart rate goes up quick and stays there. MFP can't gauge our heart rates so it has to use an average system. I'd stick with what your HRM is telling you.

I know that loose skin can be a concern and you probably will have some. As you continue to exercise, some of that skin will shrink. If you have good genes, you won't have a problem at all. The vitamin E that jzammetti mentioned might be a good thing to start using now.

I agree that if this is not a normal occurance that you shouldn't worry. Try to eat a little extra, but if you don't eat all of it, you'll be fine. I had surgery last summer and I couldn't taste or smell for a few weeks afterward and so didn't eat much. I didn't die. I didn't go into starvation mode. I just tried to make…

I just started week 1 last night. I tried it a few months ago with my 9 year old daughter as a bonding thing, but she doesn't like running with me. She'll run forever with her friends, but I'm not cool enough. I decided to give it a go again last night on my own. It was kind of fun! My friend has completed the program and…

I live 2 blocks from an elementary school with a large soccer field. I've run laps around it and seen a lot of other people do the same. I think it's perfectly ok especially if you're familiar with the route and won't be too far from home should your IBS cause problems.

My response would be, "Yeah. I know, but the fact that my pants are getting tighter makes me want to take them off faster, but not for you *kitten*."

I drink diet because that's what I grew up on and the regular stuff makes my teeth feel funny.

I saw a picture on facebook last night of a woman who was large and lumpy and wearing spandex, but running her heart out. The caption said something about the fact that at least she's doing something. I agree. I don't care how fat you are, if you're moving a little bit, good for you! In your case, you're running miles and…

I think it's a fantastic idea!

I think I just fell in love with darn near all of you!

"White" foods are generally processed foods with a lot of refined sugars. If you don't already, try switching to whole grain stuff. As with anything, too much is a bad thing. Allow yourself to have a treat every once in awhile so you have a better chance of success. Good luck!

Or eat bacon. :)
