So it measures the amount of liquid going in & out of your cells. That's cool. Would love to test one of these for a week & validate it against known data.

People work their butts and eat right 24/7 just to have a pretty Instagram photo. You don't see the blood, sweat, and tears they go through. Making assumptions about your metabolism based on pictures of other people is stupid.

I can't watch the video at the moment but these quotes are gold.

Do a few of the P90X ab workouts after each run and before you stretch! Maybe 20-25 of each exercise. Leg raises, mason twists, v ups, bicycles, and other fun things like bridges, jane fondas (these: http://a.abcnews.com/images/GMA/abc_gma_fonda_100501_wn.jpg), etc. and a few push ups while you're on the ground. :)

I don't support pro-ana statements. Also, it's a proven fact that you're less likely to achieve your goals if you tell them to other people first instead of actually doing them.

Does it tell you how many METs you're using? It's another way to measure energy. If so, put that number into this calculator and it will give you a better estimate of how much energy you're using. http://lamb.cc/calories-burned-calculator/

To be honest, the new Honey Bunches of Oats cereal is pretty great. I think I could fit in 2 boxes in one day if I tried. That's 80 grams of fiber right there.

Sounds yummy. Reminds me of bacon-wrapped scotch eggs! To die for!

My cross country workouts included 3-4mi per day and then a long run Saturday, rest Sunday. Maybe do speedwork once or twice a week in place of the normal run and then do 1mi cooldown jog. I was running 20-25 miles per week with this plan and the Saturday runs were basically a 10k for me. Just an idea. Good on you for…

If you measure dry won't it have more calories than if you measure cooked? Because it expands a little and so there's more quinoa there than if you measure a cup of the cooked stuff.

Has anyone tried "Miracle Noodles?" They're made from mushrooms I think. I saw them at Walmart in the produce section.

Seconded! I am so looking forward to doing unassisted pull ups.

Freshman 15 happened to me too. I'm a sophomore now and have lost 10 of those pounds in recent months. Feel free to add me! :) Do you have a plan on how you want to lose weight? By the way I have that same scarf in your picture ahaha :)

>I know what you're all going to say - "just don't eat it!!", but when your boss puts it on your desk, it's hard to resist the temptation Isn't that kind of the point? But anyway, no need to stress out over a chocolate pasty on the weekend, so as others have said maybe ask him not to put one on your desk.

Strength training and stretching are really helpful!

You can probably buy a whole set of really cute, good quality workout gear at Target for the price of a single lululemon piece.

Why don't you ask him what he likes? There's really no way around it.

Weigh your food with a food scale. You can get an accurate one for $10 on ebay. Volume measurements like cups and teaspoons can be wildly inaccurate, and therefore you're logging more or less than you're actually eating. Go by grams or ounces (mass measurements) on the nutrition label and with your food scale. Your diary…
