I just bought a fitbit HR today. I've gained a ton of weight and I have high BP. I've hit the point that I need to monitor my HR and start to slowly workout (had knee surgery 6 months ago). I can finally walk without much problems so I'm starting on that and I plan on pulling out my steps and start doing step aerobics.…

Thank you all for your responses. No I didn't Google (I hate it) , thanks for the spelling correction too (knew I spelled parameters wrong but couldn't figure out where in the word I messed up on), I did check websites that are good ( NIH and mayo just to name a couple), I am taking a few herbs/vitamins now and do feel…

Yes, I already take vitamin D and I am in the normal range for that (right in the middle). So I'm good that. Thanks

I really do not like eating navy beans ... never have .... this sounds more like it if I want the benefits of the beans. I will check out to see what else contain Alpha Amylase naturally

You are having a food allergy. I have those as well and you need to pay attention to what you eat to see which one is affecting you. Eat them separately. As for falling off the bandwagon, I was left behind, so I know how you feel. I've gained 40 pounds and having knee surgery on top of it all hasn't helped much.

I also have thought of trying this out but i do NOT trust the so called dr oz. A co=worker's son (who is a doctor) does use it and has lost weight with it. He did say that you shouldn't stay on it week in and week out. You need to stop taking it for a couple of days because your heart does need the carbs. All the ones I…

made my own and plan on starting hooping soon

I'm looking up the same thing. I just had knee surgery and started physical therapy. I know there are a lot of "ifs" but a nice ballpark figure would be nice to start off with

I'm about to turn 50 and I'm tattooed and pierced. I understand the need to separate from who you once were to who you want to be. Think long and hard about what you want and the long outcome of it. I never pierced my nipples but I have the industrial bar in my ear (that hurt a bit), plus 6 more ear piercings along with my…

I know how you feel. Lost 30 and gain it all back plus 20 extra pounds.

I'm slow but just heard about Paleo and was wondering more about it. I'm thinking of going onto it but wondering the best way to do this. At work I have no way to keep my food hot/cold (for a long time), I'm at the mercy of the weather of the day. Just wanted to say HI and hope, not only to learn more, but to sucessfully…

That's me alright! I finally got tired of counting every little thing that I ate and not seeing any results. With the beginning of menopause, my weight laughed at me and started climbing uphill. The yo-yo that's been my weight has finally gotten to me too. I just want to be me and stop fighting myself. I had my time of…

I have thought of trying them but haven't had them yet. Thanks for the idea! :)

I also am starting up on the mediterranean diet. Mainly for two reasons (1) for the first time my choloestal (sp?) is elevated and (2) a DNA test showed that the diet would be best for weight loss and better heart health since I also have a high risk for heart problems. I already am a borderline diabetic and suffer from…

So know the feeling!I've gained back 40 pounds that has taken me years to lose  . I've gotten discouraged but now I'm starting over again. Emotional eating is my trigger to gain so I watch it when I'm stressed out. At times, I catch myself other times I don't. You'll do great and lose again!! It's going to be tough…

Greetings all, I'm mama and thank you for the invite  I'm hail from West Virginia, I am now 48 and have been fighting baby fat for over 30 years. I'll lose and then gain it all back. I am doing my best to lose my weight and get fit. It's been hard but I'll bounce back as I have done before.

There is a website that will take it and turn it into pdf. I looked at this but not sure if it's what you want. There is another one that my job uses but I have to wait till they open the schools up (closed for the storm) http://www.sonicdownloads.net/download/Utilities/Nuance-PDF-Reader/?f=N6Hg9vZ4b&a=7378&adid=1604624396

To help with my degenerative osteoarthritis, especially in my knees. I want to be able to run and jump again without pain, let alone walk long walks without my knees swelling up
-
It's hard and I've lost and gain back 30 pounds. Great advice here that's why I haven't totally quit. I hope to see a nutritionist next time I see my Dr.

never heard of it.

Same here, but I was wondering how hard it will be on my knees. I saw an infomertial on it a few days ago and it looks WOW!

thank you, will check it out

Her's is fine and healing nicely and mines all red and swollen. no dr office open right now (today's the 4th july) so I'll have to wait till tomorrow and see if I can get an appointment.…
