Count me in! I just recently re-started with MFP. I’d really like to get down to at least 175 by July. I have my 30 yr class reunion. More importantly I just want to feel better and be in better shape! SW - 200 GW - 145 July goal - 175 4/1 - 190 4/9 - 187 Doing good so far - need to stick to it!

I was having the same issue for a long time. I finally reset my Fitbit and that seemed to do the trick.

I have been very bad about getting on here and I did not weigh for 2 weeks, Thanksgiving and had strep. But I weighed today and lost 4.5 pounds. It's exactly what I needed to give me that boost of confidence to continue on! That and a friend I hadn't seen in a month or so said I'd lost weight! :) Made my day!! :smiley:

Sorry, I have been bad about logging in and recording my steps. 11/7 - 13,450 11/8 - 6,852 11/9 - 9,039 11/10 - 7,883 so far today Steps fell off a bit - still trying to get into a good routine with exercise.

Did not lose anything but didn't gain either. I am feeling confindent though, I feel like I'm more in control of my eating and I am trying to exercise more. the only thing that has me a bit concerned is the medication (hormones) I take - I think they may be making me more bloated. Anyone have any experience with this?

Hi! Doing good here - yes, eating some candy but trying not to overdo it. I log what I eat -- still under calories. :) The weekend will be the real test I think!

Hi, I'm Bridgette from TX. Back to MFP after falling off the track a year or so ago. I lost a bunch of weight about 4 years ago but it's found it's way back, I hit a point where I could not lose anything and kept gaining so I gave up. Enough is enough - time to take back my life! :)

11/1 - 7,380 steps or 3.09 miles - my goal is 10k a day but that is probably not realistic for me. :# Will update tomorrow with 11/2 total - so far over 10K :)

I also recommend C25K to get you started (there are free apps I believe). I got thru half of it and then just started doing my own thing. I was self-conscious at first; but like the prior messages say. Nobody is really paying any attention to you (although typically people will waive or smile). I personally hate the…

I take it at Gold's - I use an HRM and generally burn around 300 calories (I'm 5 '4' and about 165); BUT I'll burn more if I do some cardio before hand and get my heart pumping. :)

Just wanted to add my two cents - I got a fitbit for Christmas and I absolutely LOVE it. I use it mainly as a motivational tool to keep me moving during the day (I'm a stay at home mom) and also to really see how active I am during the day even without a workout. The same thing was happening to me. After some reading and asking freinds I decided to increase my calories. I now eat between 1300-1400 and sometimes more depending on workouts etc. I've been doing this for a few weeks and have started losing weight again.

I was there in 2006 but only for a day or so (stopped on the way to Dublin). I just remember it was a a really nice town (great castle and gardens) - very busy though. We had a tough time finding accomodations. I'm actually headed to Killarney and Dublin in about 6 weeks and soooo excited!

I sort of did WW but didn't like the points system so just kept calories (it was thru work). I've been with MFP for a while now and just got a fitbit and I love it!!
