  • not that it's the most obnoxious thing, but I think some of my apartment mates find it annoying in our apartment gym that this one guy ALWAYS is watching Teen Titans in the gym really loud. No hate on the Titans from me, but it's pretty funny.
  • Thanks, cheshirecatastrophe! I like that idea of just buying something cheap I can throw away if I feel too warm. That's really helpful; I appreciate it!
  • I've been training in a new pair of mizuno's I got about a month ago but that's the newest thing I plan to wear. It has been unseasonably cold for us since this January so during my training I haven't really gotten to run at these temperatures (50+) much outside so I'm just not sure. (New runner here, haha) Thanks for the…
  • I would have a long talk with him. If he's comparing you to other women for the "ideal body," he needs to get a grip and see he has someone who is ideal right in front of him. I can understand if he actually is concerned if your were like in the underweight range for your body fat or you weren't eating properly or working…

  • Yesterday. And I'm not gonna lie...that frosty waffle cone and spicy chicken nugget set were pretty damn good. But that had been the first time I'd broken down for fast food in at least a month. I had a stunted time frame for lunch hour and was super hungry. I did go swimming and workout though so maybe some of it was a…
  • @skinnyjeanzbo and tlh0407 thank you so much for the input. I will just stick with it for the 10 days because I want the best results I can get from the program. Tbh, I was surprised at how hard this works you! I've done insanity before and honestly this hurts me worse than that program did. Probably the strength training.…
  • Honestly, you may want to scrap your calorie counting that day because it's worse if you aren't eating enough with excessive drinking. No judging here, we all had our crazy college days, but it may be in your best interest if you plan to drink that excessively to eat enough to not get yourself in a really bad place. As a…
  • I started the 30 day shred way later than all of you, but congrats on being awesome and keeping with it everyone! I had a question about the program. I'm on day 3 of level one and am in pretty good shape already...do you think it is worth it to move ahead to level two after 5 days of level one? Any input would be awesome.…
  • I just started the 30 day shred on Monday. I'm doing it with a friend and we're thinking to move to level two next week (after 5 days of level one, we're just doing it on weekdays). We are both pretty in shape, do you guys think we should stick it out like 10 days before we move on first? It seems like the only thing we…
  • It really depends on how big you are to start. I actually put on about 5 lbs when I did insanity, even though I was watching my calorie intake and working out everyday. I put a lot into insanity too but I lost inches and got very toned. My clothes fit much more loosely afterwards too. I obviously saw results but I found it…
  • About to finish our my first week of insanity tonight (tomorrow is the rest day since I started on a Tuesday). I am so proud I've kept with it so far! It will be awesome to take 30 day and 60 day pictures---I can already tell in one week I'm more toned and my leg quads and hamstrings feel much stronger!
  • I haven't cut out any foods, but I have to realize that if I want to eat that extra slice of pizza, or I want to drink another pint, I'm going to have to go home and bust *kitten* to even out the calorie intake. Really though, carbs are what I had to limit the most. I never realized how many calories were in even a PB&J…
  • I just started Insanity (I started on an off day, a Tuesday...tried on Monday and even the fit test kicked my butt, but I wasn't going to quit yet) and it is very hard. I am pretty muscular for a 119 lb girl but my cardio endurance is lacking. Don't be afraid to take short breaks but keep moving the whole time. My advice…
  • I did this earlier this morning lol, I got someone from North Korea LOL. You have a lower BMI than 90% of females aged 15-29 in your country, You have a lower BMI than 65% of females aged 15-29 in the world, eh, I can do better. xD
  • Congrats---though I could go for a Krispy Kreme donut right about now.
  • Is 124 pounds okay for someone who is 5'4"? It's in the healthy bmi, so, it's cool right? And thank you guys for the advice~! <3
  • If you are going under your minimum regularly...then you probably should eat more. If it's something that happens only very rarely, I don't think you should be too worried about it.
  • It doesn't hurt. But I never put in little candy like that...I also don't put when I walk around my apartment or walk to the bathroom in either which probably counter acts the 10 cal tic-tacs I ate.
  • Wow, congrats! Keep it up, you're looking good!
  • #winning :) You can totally see a difference---I apologize if this is too much but it is obvious in your body, but to me even more so with your face. You look great :) Keep it up and way to go!
  • Hey----I don't know about you but I have so much trouble with anything tomato based (pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce...etc.). I hate it so much because I love those things so much! It just triggers acid reflux for me. I don't know really much else to tell you...just sharing my side of this story. You should go to the doctor…
