  • SW: 233.4 CW: 231.6 So going out for dinner and celebrating graduation didn't ruin me. I lost 1.8 pounds! Hopefully this week will be just as good and I will get into the 220s. Great job to everyone who lost!
  • Great job everyone! Welcome to the group needtoloseweight I hope you will be successful here. LW: 234 CW: 233.4 So a loss of .6 pounds this week. I am so happy to finally moved from 234 since I have been stuck there for ages while my diet was on hold for a bit. Hopefully this week I will lose the full 2 pounds but I…
  • Welcome to all the new members (lcarter01, feeny, and ashnichole10). We all weigh in on Monday but if that doesn't work with you just whenever you get the chance. I will be around more now since my computer is fixed now. I am really excited to get back on track and start losing weight again. I have been at 234 for the past…
  • Hey everyone! Since I can get to a computer today I weighed in at 234 down .4 lbs since I last weighed myself but I guess it is still something. I didn't weigh in at all last week since I was on my period. I am going to try and keep a dairy by hand now so I can still keep myself in check. I guess I should be grateful I…
  • Hey everyone! I haven't disappeared I promise! My computer is broken so I won't be keeping my diary for a while. (I am at a computer lab right now) My computer should be fixed between 1-3 weeks. I will still try to weigh in when I can though. Last week monday: I weighed in at 234.4 which was down from 237. Hopefully I will…
  • So I weighed myself this morning since I was curious and was at 237.2. So that would take me down .8 lbs! Close to 1 is good for me. Also I think I lost 3 pounds last week so I would still be on target with my 2 lbs a week goal. @ spikess: Totoro is so cute! Congrats on your loss! @jenn: Yeah I think I had a poor week last…
  • Previous weight: 238 Current weight: 237.8 That makes a loss of only .2 lbs. I am super disappointed about that, but maybe it was from be feeling stressed or not eating enough of my calories. I dunno...I will definitely keep at it though!
  • Previous weight: 241.2 Current weight: 238 YAY! I made into the 30s...I am so excited. I am wearing pants that fit snuggly when I weighed more and today they are super loose. Congrats to everyone who managed to lose! @hodakhon: Maybe you need to increase your calorie allowance. But don't give up..your body might just be…
  • To everyone who is new and wants to join...welcome! We all weigh in on Mondays and share our insights, problems, ect throughout the week. There isn't really a formal structure for joining. @NOLA: I agree with you about making sustainable choices. That is what I am aiming for. I am trying out different foods, recipes, ect…
  • I weighed myself earlier (last week Thursday I think) and was at 141.2 which was a 1.6lbs loss for me. YAY! I started my period on Sunday so I am not sure how that will affect me this week. I have been staying within my goals though. As of this Monday I still weigh 141.2 so no change from when I weighed in on Thursday.
  • I have heard from some nurses that Alli is pretty bad. Pooing myself as a possible side effect is just not for me. Nice to hear that it does work for some people though.
  • Thanks! I saw an ad for those the other day and wondered if they were good. Maybe I will have to try it out.
  • I agree if you really want those things just make room for them in your calorie allotment for the day. If you don't have enough calories just do some exercise. Even just walking around the mall or something for an hour will burn around 200 calories.
  • I tried the salsa chicken everyone has been mentioning and it was great! I added Mexicorn to it though. Here is my recipe for BBQ Pulled Chicken Serves 4 2 Chicken Breasts 10 Tablespoons of BBQ Sauce (I use sweet baby ray's honey bbq) 6 oz of Diet Dr Pepper (half a 12oz can...you could probably sub diet coke) Place chicken…
  • Great job to everyone who weighed in! I would also like to welcome the newcomers. The more the merrier here and it is nice to find out that there are so many people just like you. We can all go through the same things together. Much love to everyone and good luck this week!
  • I am focusing most on calories. I tend to go over most on the carbs, sometimes I go over on protein, I hardly ever go over on fat. It always seems that I am only over on one thing at a time though (like just carbs). I have only been doing this for a little over 20 days so I don't want to worry too much since I am already…
  • The cottage cheese sounds good with salsa....but I like the full fat cottage cheese since lowfat never tastes right in my opinion. I shall have to look for the keeblers snacks...I wish my grocery store carried those weight watchers cakes.
  • potatoes or rice
  • Hi everyone! I just weighed in at 243 exact which means I only lost .2 lbs. Kind of disappointing (supposed to lose 2lbs a week) considering I haven't gone over on calories since I started. I do go over on carbs and sometimes protein since I am trying to eat lower fat options. It seems that low fat options just make me go…
  • @yogadiva: Welcome to the group! I am happy to have someone who has a bit more experience on the site. 36 lbs is a lot Congrats! I can't wait for the weather to get nicer here...it was in the 60s for a day or two but then it dropped back down to the 40s.
  • Welcome to the group ladies! Weigh-ins are every Monday, but feel free to come around during other days just to chat or ask for advice. @Valentina: This site has really helped me stay motivated and be more accountable. I think when you are keeping track of everything you eat it is harder to cheat. My calories at the end of…
  • Great job! Good luck on the sports challenge.
  • @snorker: On the bright side you haven't gained anything.
  • I still eat naughty things once in a while as long as they don't put me over my calorie count. Also here you are encouraged to eat all of your exercise calories because the site already calculates the calorie deficit needed for you to lose weight. So if you are planning on eating something naughty you might want to…
  • @dianeg1981: Welcome to the group! We are basically here to help motivate each other..chat, share concerns, recipes, ect. Our weigh ins are every Monday and hopefully they will help everyone stay accountable. @dmmarie21: Great job and a loss is still a loss! Maybe your body has an increased metabolism? I have heard a lot…
  • Weighed in at 243.2... exactly 2 pounds down from my last weight. The funny thing is that I weighed myself last night and was still at 245. I might have still been digesting stuff or something. @mlagena: Don't worry about that! I have seen many people post that they have experienced anywhere from 2-6 pound weight gain…
  • Even normal walking is exercise so don't sweat it too much! The goal is to make changes that are sustainable.
  • I ate Mu Shu Pork tonight and it was awesome! I use the PF Changs calorie count because my local favorite restaurant doesn't have nutrition info. I only ate half and brought the rest home for tomorrow. Because I am not sure how large the portions sizes are at PF Changes and they list 1 dish as a portion I just used the…
