I like LARA bars because it only has simple ingredients and is unprocessed - just nuts and fruits. Costco has the best price.

I've had the same exact problem and have finally had a breakthough. I stopped any and all hormonal influences (IUD) and have gone to more of a live whole foods diet. One that is plant based with fruits, veggies, grains, legumes, nuts & seeds. I minimize animal proteins, dairy, and wheat. It's made a huge difference. Check…

lots of stickers with a blank pieces of paper to keep those hands busy; a few picture books where there's lots to point at and play "I Spy"; having them suck on a lollipop during take-off and landing may help with change in pressure; doodle app on iPad; your own blanket (a travel towel works great) and inflatable pillow…

I have a Vitamix and LOVE it. We use it daily to make green smoothies. I would encourage to take a look at its competitor- Blendtec - as well. Well worth the $ for either one.

Great job! I love how you took your before/after pics in the same pose, same sweater and same surroundings. It really makes you focus on the difference on YOU all over. You look amazing and it shows in your contagious smile. WTG!

My husband and I drink. We love the taste of it very much and works great as a snack or for recovery post workout. Highly recommend it.

drinking smoothies w/ a straw? Wish you a speedy recovery.

Eating smaller portions to enjoy all the delicious foods, doing some kind of movement daily, while still logging in my food diary on MFP.

Yes, I agree that Paula doesn't help at all! I've never been able to watch her shows, nor do the Neely's. I love Barefoot Contessa, Giada, Good Eats, Healthy Appetite and so many more. America's Test Kitchen airs a weekly show on PBS too. I love the recipes from their Healthy Family Cookbook.

Sorry I'm checking in a day late. CW: 162.4 down .4 lbs! I'll take anything.

I would agree with you that Thai food is healthier than Chinese. You just have to be careful as to what you order and try to stay away from coconut milk based curries or fried foods. Also because of the fish sauce used the sodium content could be high. However at least it doesn't have the corn starch or sweet and sour…

I highly recommend an elliptical machine especially for home. We have a basic low-end Precor that doesn't have bells and whistles on it that we purchased from a local exercise equipment store. We've had it for 7 yrs now, paid about $2K for it but it's worth every penny. My husband and I both use it almost daily. It's a…

Yay! I can feel your excitement. I'm a few pounds away from being in the 150s myself and I can't wait to get there! Awesome job! I'd love to be friends with you here!

Yesterday I was able to do 50 min cardio intervals (3min high resistance, 1 min low resistance) followed by a 5 min cooldown. Felt awesome to sweat so much! It's really helped me to wear a heart rate monitor during workouts so that I can push myself harder and keep my number in the zone. All that sweating made me really…

Today I was able to do a BodyPump class for the first time in a few months. Felt so great! I think my glutes are going to be sore in the morning from all the squats. Water 3/7 Exercise 3/7 It's wonderful to see how great everyone is doing with the challenge! Keep up the good work everyone!

How do I add numbers to the spreadsheet if it's "view only"? I wanted to change my 11/22 goal weight to something more reasonable. Thanks in advance!

Do you have stairs? I'd suggest to go up and down for a set amount of time. I've done this in hotels while traveling when their exercise machines aren't so great. Just don't forget to do a really good stretch afterwards.

If this group is still open, count me in! I've never been part of any groups here on MFP and could really use the support and motivation. CW: 163 GW: 135 Looking forward to the challenges!
