  • kind of hard to explain, but basically you have your hands in the air by your head palms facing forward. kick one foot out to the side in the air and "crunch" down to the same side kind of like an oblique crunch. Quickly alternate and kick opposite foot out and crunch to other side. Does that make sense?

  • Took a 5 minute walk to a yard sale near my house and I did 30 minutes of various calisthenic/cardio this evening.   • I am a HUGE sweets fanatic (ice cream, cake, cookies, etc). I have found some really easy recipes that use a cake mix and either applesauce, canned pumpkin, diet soda, etc instead of oil and egg.   • I think integrating some cardio is a good idea - even if it's only 5 minutes worth or what not, it's better than none. I know there's cardio involved in the challenges that I'm preparing ...

  • I don't do calf raises or curls, but I'll squeeze and hold my abs or butt as tight as I can while I shampoo, rinse, condition, rinse, wash my face... Usually I count to 30 or so to myself so it's about 30 secs at a time...
