That's the beauty of C25K. To start with you're only running for a very short time for each interval with walking in between to let you get your breath back. As the programme progresses you end up running for slightly longer for each interval with shorter or fewer walking intervals in between. Eventually you'll be able to…

Hi. My final goal is pretty much the same as yours but I weigh 224lb at the moment so nearly 90lb to go! I've just started back again. Feel free to add me if you like.

Well done! It is so difficult to resist! A colleague brought chocolate cake in to work today because it was her birthday but I just had my apple instead even though I'd had a tough morning. What a great feeling B)

Just what I needed! I pretty much made the decision last night that today I would log everything regardless of what sort of day I've had. If I go over, I go over but I'll never know until I log it! I'm going through a very stressful and extremely busy year but I feel just in control enough to start again today. I will do…

Plenty of obese people in the UK, me included. I'm around 100kg. I've never had anyone point and laugh at me except some teenagers once when I was running (ok, jogging. But I was trying!). I ignored them and thought "my body is probably healthier than their drunk, chain-smoking ones" and carried on with my slow, wobbly,…

You can add me if you like. I used to run but am now way too heavy. I want to lose about 5 or 6 stone or whatever makes me feel healthy. I do want to get back to running but I also have screwy knees so I want to lose some weight first. I enjoy karate and walking though. I'm not in Kent but I'm rubbish on a bike anyway :D I…

Hi. I'm living in Hertfordshire at the moment. You're welcome to add me :)
-
You're all welcome to add me. I have about 35 friends but only a few are active on MFP at the moment so I'm looking for a few more myself. I'm a mum of 2 in the UK. Things will get crazy for me in September as I'm training to be a physics teacher so I may not be logging on every day but I will aim to be as supportive as I…

I have quite a lot to lose. Shame it's not as simple as trading weight :D
-
You can add me too. Actually any of you can
-
Wow! You look amazing! Well done. That is a fantastic achievement :) P.S. This is great motivation for anyone with a lot of lbs to lose (like me ;) ). Thanks for sharing :)

Yeah, I clocked up thousands of steps playing the piano when I was using the misfit app on my pebble. I haven't tried playing the piano with the Jawbone app though. Must give that a try :D

Seems to be working today. Perhaps the system is taking a while to catch up after all the syncing problems over the last few days.
-
I'm having a similar issue. On my android MFP app the steps are registering but I don't seem to have a calorie adjustment. They are not registering on the iPad app. It's very frustrating. This is the first day I have tried to use it.
-
Ok. This works with the iPad so probably would work with an iPhone too. It just will not work with android :/
-
Yeah, I tried that and it didn't work. I even tried reinstalling them both. Seems to be a common problem through the Zenlabs forums. Maybe it's Android specific. I'm not lugging the iPad around with me on my runs, lol!
-
Unfortunately not. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I think it's an MFP issue as the 'connect' button on MFP just takes you to the Zenlabs website.

You can add me if you like. I just started again a few days. I'm a little far from Bournemouth though!
-
I'm old (42) but you can add me if you like

Hi. I restarted a few days ago. I have 60-80lb to lose depending on how I feel when I get to 60lb loss. I could do with some more friends too so anyone feel free to add me. Kazz1976, I'll send you a request
-
Thanks. I hope your friend's recovery goes well
-
A very inspiring story! If you can do it after open heart surgery there should be no stopping me!
-
Thanks. This is very motivating! I'm glad you are getting your fitness back
-
Yes, my levels look pretty good now. I can only take T3 (cytomel) so I am gradually finding the right dosing schedule. I'm pretty close now

Thanks. I have done something similar years ago (way before smartphones, lol) which is how I got into running. I am class I obese at the moment but I suppose I could apply it to walking using intervals of brisk walking in between gentle walking. When I have lost some weight and gained some stamina walking, I could do it…

I am under a doctor and apparently I am now adequately treated however, after months of inactivity, I have no stamina. I have been told to start exercising again but I don't know how to increase my stamina. Apparently there is no reason why I can't eventually get back to being fit. I suppose I will need to start like…

Well done! I love this DVD but had to stop again due to joint pain. I will try and try again though. One day I'll get all the way through! You've done a super job!
-
Hon, you are beautiful and have done a great job so far. Don't worry what people say. People can be mean. Perhaps those girls were just amazed how fit you are. Yes, they were rude and insensitive but you are doing amazingly well if they thought you should be passing out. See that as an achievement. You can do way more than…
