I'll play! I've been neglecting my bike since summer ended. Not that it's THAT cold here in Texas, but I'm a sissy once the temps fall below 70. I don't think I could survive in Wisconsin!! I do have a trainer in my nicely heated house though.

I'm thrilled. I can't wait to hear some new tracks. War Pigs was the first metal song I ever heard & I've been in love ever since!!

I don't think so. I bought the Diva. Then I got home & started reading the packaging - it said not to use if you have an IUD. I was completely bummed. I still have it and I plan to ask about it when I visit my gynecologist in January.

Honey, take his email & his memory and delete them! Never waste another thought on him! Best of luck to ya!

sounds amazing!

I managed to go for the full 2 minutes. The last 45 seconds were tough though. Turns out I have a pace of 1 jumping jack per second. In 2 minutes I did 120. I may have to do that more often. Two minutes later my heart is still pounding. Good luck on your project!!

Open up your food diary please. It's hard to make recommendations without being able to see what you are eating.

My girls are 9 (4th grade) & 11 (6th grade). Neither has openly admited to not believing anymore. If they were to ask, I think they're old enough that I would let them "in on the secret," but I'm not volunteering anything.

Either one. I've started & stopped a couple of times & the 30-Day Shred Police have yet to show up at my house. I wonder who's at the door now...

I'm just north of Fort Worth & my Albertson's usually has it. Just made some last night & had leftovers with lunch. Yum!

OK - I'm late, which has been happening a lot lately. I'm down another 2 lbs which puts me 1 lb less than my original goal. And...I bought my very first size small shirt on Saturday, on clearance even. I've decided to switch to maintainence mode for a couple of months and focus more on building muscle. I'll decide after…

A second to the clicky pens! And...people who seem to be unable to chew gum with their mouths SHUT!!! That is the most disgusting noise, ever!

Welcome! Knowledge is power!! I found that I was truly surprised by the calorie counts of some foods when I started logging. Let that guide your future food choices and you will get healthier & healthier! Best of luck!

That has to be very difficult to watch someone you care about continuously not care about themselves. Hugs!!

The only way I would be willing to give up breakfast (& lunch!?) is if I had the luxury of sleeping until 2:00. Nope, not gonna happen.

OK - I'll jump in! I too have started several times. I have to work out in the morning before everyone else wakes up if I'm to be guaranteed time to get in a work out. I have been hitting the snooze rather consistently lately though. Having someone to check in with will motivate me to get up instead of rolling over. Let's…

Protein...greek yogurt, beans, chicken breast (cook in a sauce pan with picante sauce & yum w/o added calories!), and (my new fav cereal) Kashi Go Lean Crunch - it has extra fiber too. That's all I can think of at the moment. Feel free to look at my diary - I usually knock out MFP's protein recommendation by lunch.

Yes, you need to eat more if you are going to work out that much. Think of your body as a car. It needs fuel to run. You don't ask your car to drive 200 miles on 100 miles worth of gas. You can't ask your body to do so either. Try adding some snacks - even if you don't think you're hungry. Fruits & veggies make great…

Good evening ladies!! That sounds like great news Val! I bet that's such a relief. I lost another 2 lbs this week! A giant hug to all of you! I was 11 pounds away from my original goal when we started this challenge and now I'm only 1 away. Having to report to the group has definately keep my motivation up! Thank you thank…

My biggest challenge will be getting the exercise in. Now that school has started my weeknights are crazy! How much free time I have is dictated by how much homework the kids have. And my youngest is really struggling this year so getting through hers is just draining. Report cards haven't even come out yet and I already…

I ran yesterday soley so I'd have the extra calories for rum last night. Some might disapprove, but I'm calling that a win-win!
-
I'm in!!! Have a great week folks!!

Best of luck tomorrow Val! Keep us posted! Let's see...I reviewed my week earlier today to post this, but I got distracted...happens a lot. Sunday - I did list cleaning as exercise, usually don't, but this was steam-cleaning carpets & moving furniture - took about 2 1/2 hours and I listed 1 hour - totally exhausting Monday…

51.4 yesterday at the Waco Wild West ride. I swear 1/3 of it was uphill into the wind. They got some nasty storms after we left town so I guess that's what was blowing in. Still a lot of fun though!

Congrats!! Isn't your bike just the best place in the world to be? Awesome!!
