  • I offended by the uniform, so I don't go there. I am also offended by Hot Dog on A Stick...so I boycot that too... In all seriousness...really? They are YOUR children. You can give them any experience you want to. You can take them to Hooters and make a big deal about it, or you can take them to Hooters and order…
  • I did it 7 days per week and ran 2-5 miles three times per week. I lost 18 lb and 21 inches in 30 days. :)
  • When I was pg with my first, I would mix sweet pickle relish with cinnamon applesauce and eat it by the jar. It's the ONLY thing that would stay down. I lost a lot of weight with that pregnancy! Right now, my favorite thing for breakfast is Peach Chobani mixed with cottage cheese and a sliced fresh peach. The texture is…
  • Running in the snow is fun...but can cause all kinds of issues with your form....I am on hiatus from running right now after a 5 mile frolic in the lovely white wonderland. :( Be very careful. As far as someone watching you...I was 225 lb when I started running. I am pretty sure that from the back, my @ss looked like two…
  • It really just depends on what and how often you eat. I eat about 900-950 a day and run 3-5 miles in the morning and do 30-60 min of crosstraining in the evening. It's enough for me and I'm 170. I don't snack, though.
  • I wish....But at this rate I am about 1000 hours from my goal weight... Once I hit maintenance, I'll consider it. Enjoy one (0r two) for me!!
  • I know I'm going to get in trouble for this, but I'm going to say it anyway. My calorie goal was 1310 and I NEVER ate over 1200. Actually, I rarely ate over 1000. My day usually ended around 950. And I lost weight. A lot of weight. When I started working out more hardcore (ie: training for a half marathon, and 120+ of…
  • It's a Bailey's with some hot chocolate in it kind of night. Luckily, I have the calories left...because I don't think it would matter. Nothing I did to myself this time, just some CRAZY children and a iate night for the hubby. They are sound asleep at 7:40. Now, where did I put that bottle?
  • Meatloaf cupcakes for dinner. They are adorable AND yummy. The kids are scarfing them down.
  • I also agree with their message...when they had one. Unfortunately, it has been lost. It was a great idea poorly executed, for sure.
  • Lacey: Let's do it. Drinks and apps in Portland? I won't go DT because of the Occupy crowd, but I'll meet you almost anywhere else.
  • *********************************************:indifferent: 171.1 :indifferent: : *********************************** It's not going up...right? Right. And, the last time I was stuck for this long, my scale was on the fritz, so I tested it with holding Twinkle.... (My 2 yo weighs 37 lb... No kidding.) Nope. It's working. I…
  • Amy: You are doing all the right things. It WILL come off. You are working on a 1000+ deficit every day...your body will catch on. Soon. In other news, I bought my very first tofu ever (because of you) and I have NO idea what to do with it. Come on over and fix it for me? Annette: I feel for you girl. That is a crappy…
  • I just did some calculations. There are 56 days until the New Year. If I lose 2.12 lb per week, I can be at goal weight and enter the new year on maintenance -- for the first time in my life. So, I am looking for friends to make a 56 day commitment to be HARDCORE with me. I'm talkin' balls to the wall, let's get 'er done,…
  • So, today has been awesome. Tiring, but definitely worth it. Spent the morning at my parent's house and made a Goodwill run with my mom. I found some warmer running clothes for the winter months. NO more freezing my buns off...literally. Then, Joe had to go to work at the church. They are opening a coffee shop and he is…

  • Katheryne: I could totally live in Alaska if you get 2 feet of snow AND you have Tillamook cheese. Move over, I'm movin' in.
  • Day one of a Well-Balanced life: Awesome. I cleaned my living room and kitchen. (The bedrooms will have to wait.) Dinner was in the crock pot, so I had time to read books with Twinkle and build a Lego helicopter with Wiggle. I did all three levels of JM Shred and got a shower before my husband got home. Dinner with my…

  • hi. Sorry I have been missing all week. It has been a doozie. WARNING:::MEGA RANT::::::WARNING My friend went BACK into surgery because she was leaking cerebral spinal fluid. She should be back in rehab tomorrow. Sharing the load for feeding the family and cleaning their house has been a huge help, but I have simply…
  • I have read all, but have NO energy to respond tonight. Tomorrow. It's all about tomorrow.  I am SO overtired, it's not even funny.
  • *************************************171.1************************************** Sorry!!!
  • Holy Snotballs, girls. SEVEN PAGES!! oye. um, I will read later but wanted to catch up with you. Today was Wiggle's birthday party and it was a BLAST. We had pumpkin bowling, a pinata, and a bean bag toss. My husband built a Haunted House out of a piece of plywood and painted it black. They threw the bean bags through the…

  • Normally, I would agree with you 100%. But this morning I did 6 miles and I FROZE my buns off the entire time and I was movin' for fear of cramping and dying of hypothermia. So my suggestion is: warmer clothes. Or, you can do videos at home. I love love love Jillian MIchaels Banish Fat- Boost Metabolism and No More Trouble…
  • For the love of all things....Make the candy stop!! I have actually put it in the outside freezer to stop myself from eating it. HELLO, fatty!!! Stop eating the sugar! (she says while chewing on a mini york peppermint patty.) Pam: EVERYONE is pregnant around me right now. Two of my closest friends, people I am…
  • Five Guys Burgers = not friendly. I ate half of a cheese veggie burger and now I want to give it back, if you know what I mean. No grease in this tummy for almost six months...that was a little overkill for a first time. ew. I'm cured for sure. In other news, Bikram Yoga has been awesome for my body, including my digestive…
  • I'm in!! I don't have a half marathon this week to cheat with...I guess I have to do it the old fashioned way. Can't wait!
