  • It sounds to me like she is a bully and I'm sure she has made hurtful remarks to lots of people. I work with a bully and I spend a lot of time praying for her!! People like that are really sad and hurting...too bad they try to inflict their pain on others! You did the right thing, even though it was hard!!!
  • I'm 4'10" and am trying to get down to 110. I am currently at 119. I lost about 22 lbs. before starting MFP. They always say the last 10 lbs. are the hardest to lose!! I tend to agree! I am a runner and am now doing core work and weights to tone. I have skinny arms and legs but big hips!!
  • What fat burner would you recommend?
  • I am 47, almost 48 and am having the same irregular periods. I just saw my gynecologist yesterday and she said that these irregular periods are a sure sign I am in perimenopause. Sounds like you might be entering into perimenopause too.
  • I drink chocolate milk (1% fat) or a bowl of Kashi cereal with protein to help my muscles recover.
  • You look so amazing and so healthy! Congrats on all you've accomplished! I'm a runner too and the half is my favorite distance to race!
  • Hi, I wanted to introduce myself! I'm 4'10" and 121 lbs. My heaviest was 140 lbs. (after being on Lexapro for a few years). My goal weight is between 105-110lbs. I am a runner and have run 4 half-marathons in the last few years. Am very happy to be here among my short peeps!
  • I'm late to reply to this but wanted to let you know that I gained 30 lbs. on Lexapro. It caused me lots of unpleasant side effects. The main worry was the weight gain and the slowed metabolism. I have lost about 23 of the 30 by running, running and more running. I'm currently doing a bootcamp and have thrown in the 30 day…
  • Day 13 (day 3 of level 2). Don't like 2 very much. Might try level 3 just to see if I can hang! After 3 straight weeks of boot camp, am feeling stronger and want to continue!!!! Scale is not moving but I'm noticing my clothes fitting looser and friends are commenting that I look thinner/more fit. :drinker: I'm wearing…
  • NSV=Non-Scale Victory
  • I fell off Shredding wagon big time because of out of town nieces and nephews staying @ my house. Have Bootcamp Mon/Wed and will try to do shredding Tues/Thur along with running 'dates' with some friends! Keep at it shredders! Even if you miss some days like me, pick some days to do it and stick with it!!!!! :) Laurie
  • Just Breathe, I might try No More Trouble Zones or Ripped in 30 after the 30 Day Shred. I am also doing a boot camp 2 days a week and I love it!
  • Completed Day 12 Level 2 today. I'm not seeing weight loss but I am big difference in how my clothes fit me. Me likey  !! I have thought about how doing 2 in one day would work...I say if you are to it then go for it!! Please let us know so we can admire you like crazy! Keep up the GREAT work fellow shredders!!
  • You look awesome! And wanted to chime in on your daughter, she's a cutie! I hope you don't mind me asking, but is she Asian? I have two daughters adopted from China so I'm very partial and drawn to Asian kiddos! Congrats on your accomplishment!! Laurie
  • FINALLY!!! Day 11 Level 2 DONE!! I was so stinking sore from my boot camp this week to even attempt Jillian but felt so much better today! AK-hang in there! No one has all perfect days!! We'd be pretty boring if we did!!!!! I'm proud of all you have already done!!! I can't seem to drop any more lbs. and you are only a few…
  • I am skipping today because of my hour long boot camp that is just as intense as 30 day shred. We are working lower body today (Monday was upper body) and so hopefully I won't be as sore and can pick up on day 11 of the shred tomorrow!!! My lower body is waaaaaaaay stronger than my upper body right now. But, I can see a…
  • Hi Everyone! I wanted to check in with you guys! I have skipped the last 2 days of 30 day shred (last time was Monday, Day 10 L 2). I did an hour of a killer boot camp yesterday and my arms are sooooooooooooooo sore. I just couldn't get up the nerve to do 30 day shred today so I will be back at it tomorrow. This is my…
  • wchavira, Welcome to our shredder group! I'm so impressed with your 10 lb weight loss from your first round! :drinker:
  • I completed day 10 today but jumped forward to level 2. DANG! It was challenging but I hung in there. The plank jumpy thingies (forward and back, circuit 2) about killed me!! Am going to do a boot camp twice a week starting tomorrow...not sure yet if I will be doing the Shred on those days or not... I so want to…
  • Day 9 Level 1 complete. Peeked at Level 2 before taking out the DVD and holy crap, I'm scared!!! Scared or not, I"m thinking about starting it tomorrow instead of doing Level 1 for the 10th day. We'll see how I feel tomorrow! Keep up the good work everyone!!
  • I don't think either of my friends are working with a doctor. They are using the drops. I would feel better if they were working with a medical professional!
  • Don't have pictures but running has helped me drop 20 of the 30 I needed to lose. Working on the last 10 by more running and strength training!! Running is one of THE best ways to get the weight off!! Love me some endorphins!!
  • You look fabulous! Congrats on all your hard work!!
  • Day 8 level 1 complete. I was really tired today but pushed through. Happy Friday everyone!
  • ak248902, I am going to missing some days next weekend because of an out of town trip. I just plan on running those days and picking up where I left off when I return! Have fun on your camping trip!!
  • I searched the posts for this info because I have 2friends who have started this diet. I voiced my concern because I feel they are starving themselves and not going about weight loss in a healthy way!! I've been working at my weight loss for 2+ years and have lost 20 of my 30. It's slow but it's staying off!!! Glad to have…
  • Day 6 Level 1 done! Still mixing up the weights because using 5 lb. exclusively gives me poor form on my pushups and I want to have proper form! Going to also get a run in this evening when the temp drops from 100 to 95. :) (brutal Texas heat!!) You guys are doing a GREAT job sticking with it, even when it is hard!!!!
  • Swimgoddess, No worries about just starting now...we are all here to support! Let us know how your first day went!!
