  • defined/in shape women are very attractive. I more or less think its the fact that I have something in common right of the bat with that girl that makes her so attractive but to be honest anyone with a passion for something is attractive in my opinion, Dedication, desire and determination, the most attractive attributes a…
  • I would say eat more fiber. Yes protein fills you up, but its the fiber that will keep you full the longest. So I wouldn't drop the toast (if it is high in fiber) The oatmeal if its plain oats packs a fiber punch, and pick a high fiber fruit as well. Strawberries are high in fiber, and also low in calories, 8g carbs per…
  • if you are physically active that is extremely low. So don't worry. The only time going over any macro nutrient is bad is if it puts you over your calorie goal for the day. But again if you are working out 80 is probably still on the low side.
  • They have a mint chocolate chip one that I honestly ate 2 of everyday this offseason. They are the greatest!
  • I don't follow the MFP protocol at all, and many of the people I know don't follow their guidelines anyway. Fiber will keep you full longer more than protein. And the fact that the main person said that they had only carb calories left I feel like they are hitting a calorie count that they have set up. Candy and gatorade…
  • If going over protein puts someone over their calorie goal for the day its not good. I'm not trying to be rude but you say eat what fits your macros. If you go over on protein you add 4 calories a gram every gram youre over so yea it can hinder progress. Protein has calories just like carbs and fats.

  • need to know your goal, height, weight, and activity level. Your food intake is not enough to go by.
  • This is a lifestyle yes. But we chose this, and it doesn't have to overcome you. You still have a year until your competition so don't worry too much about eating out as long as you can ball park your calories. You used the term "clean eating". There is absolutely no such thing. There is nutrient rich eating, and nutrient…

  • any sort of candy, fruit, rice cakes, juices, gatorade. the list goes on.
  • As long as you are still in a calorie defecit after eating this you will lose weight. Processed foods make no difference on weight loss. A calorie is a calorie.
  • You are fine. I eat upwards of 3 a day on some days when work gets real long. The only thing i can think of is the sugar alcohols messing with your stomach, but if you don't get an upset stomach go ahead and chow without a second thought.
  • All protein is denatured when it is digested into your system so don't worry about that part. Just make your protein bars the way it says. But if you are worried about that, There are plenty of ones just to put in the fridge afterwards and they come out just as good if not better than the cooked ones I've made.
  • THANK YOU!!!! someone else who understands that PB is a fat not a protein. Peanut Butter is a great way to fit your fat macro. Go ahead and eat that Jif snack if it fits your macros. Everything is healthy in moderation.
  • If any of y'all need someone to talk to I can help, I am 9 months out of anorexia and bulimic patterns towards the end of my time. To answer your question about the weight gain. You put your body in such a low calorie arena that your metabolism has slowed down dramatically. You need to slowly add food back into your diet.…
  • First off congrats on the weight loss! Keep it up! Its an amazing journey! A calorie is a calorie in the grand scheme of things. If you are in a calorie deficit you will lose weight and if you are in a calorie surplus you will gain weight. it is a simple as that. You can get fat off of veggies and lose weight with ding…
  • my biggest meal is right before i go to bed. Sadly it's getting smaller and smaller as I get closer and closer to my show. It doesn't matter when you get your calories in as long as you're in a deficit
  • If they are generic, then weigh whenever you want and the find either cooked or raw on MFP. and look up ground turkey, not turkey burgers. you will find ground turkey on here. If it has nutrition facts on the packaging, that is the raw weight serving size and macros. i had that issue when i was just beginning too.. its…
  • you can only have 15 grams of carbohydrates? do you have a disorder? this is a serious question! I am half way through a degree in human movement and performance which is nutrition and physiology all wrapped into one, and unless you have a disorder where your body cannot handle certain foods i.e.. celiac disease you need…
  • It is that simple. Your body does not see the foods it is taking in.. it just sees the nutrients you are giving it. So your body does not see a piece of cake, it sees the protein carbs and fats which encompass the calorie total, it utilizes those calories as energy and the rest is stored. if at the end of the day you are…

  • I eat bread every single day, sandwiches are simple easy foods for work. Why wouldn't you eat bread. If you expend more calories than you take in then you will lose weight. It is simple as that. If you love bread, eat your bread. Hit your macronutrient intake for fats, protein and carbs and you will lose weight if it keeps…
